I didn’t have a clue who he was!
  5. Exactly this for me. Or, Mike is just being a very nice man and is thinking of us fans so is waiting until the boozers reopen before announcing the sale!

  7. Finally got round to watch the Man City thing on Prime - well, first three episodes - really enjoyed it but it’s so annoying that it could have been us

  9. Tottenham and Newcastle closed for business Tottenham and Newcastle have disabled email accounts and confiscated phones and laptops to prevent staff who have been furloughed from doing any work, which would breach the terms of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, which both clubs are using to claim money from government to pay wages. There is bemusement at other clubs at their decision to shut their scouting analysis, as remote video analysis of past matches can still be conducted during the shutdown, and many of their rivals have actually beefed up their recruitment operations with a view to being ready to do business when the transfer window eventually opens later in the summer.
  10. Skybet have a market for a virtual Grand National which is live on ITV at 5.15 with all profits going to the NHS
  11. This x1000. Schmeichel saves at one end, Cantona scores at the other. Week after week, must have been half a dozen 1 Nils to them after February. Yep. They played Spurs and Arsenal at home and both were televised and they got humped on both but that scenario happened in each of them. If we’d even drawn with them up here then it was our title - pisser.

  13. Definitely - it was only five days later - sickener - Sir Les should have put us 4-3 up too!
  14. Aye see my post number 3 pal - miles worse Blackburn - Fenton FFS
  15. Loads already mentioned but Nobby's at home to Everton with the outside of his right peg outside of the box is worth a shout! Robert scored a ridiculous amount of screamers - hard to put them in any kind of order but his one at Everton from a bizarre angle outside of the net was immense!
  16. I felt 1000 times worse leaving Ewood Park five days later as I knew it was over! What a nightmare run of away matches! The Blackburn game was the killer. Liverpool at Anfield are always a tough proposition, but we lost our nerve at Blackburn and threw the game away. Yeah definitely! Shearer didn't want to know and on comes another Geordie NUFC fan and bags a brace FFS. Sir Les missed a sitter at 3-3 - took an extra touch and blasted it at James - will re-live that tonight!
