They weren't though. He chose to play Nolan up front (ahead of the three other centre forwards he had on the bench). He also chose to play Geremi in central midfield & Guthrie on the wing again despite the fact Geremi just doesn't have the legs for a central role. If he'd played Kadar at centre half (who I know hasn't been anything special at all), he'd also be playing a specialist centre half at centre half, which would let him play his right back at right back instead of out of position in the middle, this would then let the right winger he's playing at full back play on the right wing, which would let the central midfielder he's playing on the right wing play in the middle of the park where he can influence the game. All decisions that Hughton f***ed up last night & the main reason we got beat. I agree - I don't rate Hughton at all as a manager. I had to do it by early doors so be fair! Ha!
