Ha ha! Ayem them 2 - Kenwyne Jones, Mensah and Cana were in - Mensah was canny!
  3. I can't believe the amount of so-called NUFC fans who bad-mouth and slate Kevin Keegan If it wasn't for him, we'd be playing Gateshead this weekend.
  4. I often come across this idea that because Ashley owns the club, he's to blame for everything that happens, as though he has control of every event. But you've broken new ground there. Ashley is now responsible even for the thoughts inside other people's heads. Erm, so who 'informed' the press of the supposed bull-shit wish-list of Henry, Lampard, Giggs etc? Perhaps it was the man who summoned Keegan to a meeting in London for admitting we were 'a million miles off the top 4' after Chelsea at home?
  5. I hate Ashley more for how some of our fans have turned on Keegan. How much did we generate through extra tickets sales and merchandise sales when Ashley re-installed Keegan as our Manager? How much profit did we make on Bassong? I'd say these 2 together will be more than any pay out Keegan receives.

Yep, Gazza was definitely there and was a cracking bloke, albeit not in a decent state. He also donated towards the fundraiser for baby Faith. Demons............
  7. Peter Lovenkrands, Peter Lovenkrands, signed him on a free, from nobody, Peter Lovenkrands!
  8. Well said mate. The Keegan-bashing by some of our support boils my piss.
  9. His achievements as player and manager of our club and the joy and entertainment he gave us do not merit all the shite he gets off people.
  10. It's disgraceful the amount of abuse that Keegan gets on here.
  11. Sheff Wed could have brought double the 3 K up but due to our idiotic people in charge who never considered this and sold season tickets in areas right next to the usual away area we willl lose revenue, clowns!

  15. 'no new owner'...............you said it!
  16. That definitely needs sorted out, idiots.
  17. I’m gutted even though I expected it but he is out of the horrendous pain he was in. So pleased I met him a few times and the world, never mind the football world, has lost a fantastic man. He was a true gentleman and is 1 of the only blokes who EVERY football fan in the world has mass respect for. To think he watched his beloved NUFC being ran in to the ground in his last days by a complete and utter cockney w***** R.I.P to a true legend, thoughts with all his family

More bad news for us - no way will he will write off any debts or loans owed to him - fat tosser Sports Direct profits plunge 91% Sports World is the firm's main retail brand Sports Direct has announced a 91% drop in full-year profits despite increased sales, after the weak pound and investment losses took their toll. The company - controlled by Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley - made a profit of £10.7m in the year to 26 April, against £118.9m a year earlier. Total revenues rose 9% to £1.37bn, with revenues in the UK topping £1bn. Sports Direct said it would not be paying a final dividend in order to concentrate on cutting its £430m debts. "The second half of the year remained challenging, but we are pleased with these solid full year results that reflect the resilience and relevance of our flexible business model, focused on the core principles of retailing," said chief executive Dave Forsey. During the year, the company opened 27 new stores in the UK. The company owns the Sports World chain of stores, as well as brands including Slazenger, Lonsdale and Dunlop.
