Spurs doing a lot of preparation and not a lot of bidding. It feels like neither ourselves or Spurs are prepared to pay what Leicester want for Maddison. Relegated club and last year of contract. Reading the Leicester forums a while back a lot of the fans said the club did this with Youri last summer. Set a unrealistic minimum price and negotiated themselves out of a deal. If both clubs refuse to cave to them then I think there is still a chance we get him for £40/45m. -
Briefly touched on at the end of On the Continent. Andy Brassell pretty much gushing with praise for him, said he’d be the best passer in our team. Best moment of the exchange though was David Cartlidge getting accused on being a Geordie

Oh yeah I agree that was right just the ref in general has been rubbish. Don’t get he Madueke hype, never seems to do much when I’ve seen him.

Never heard of him, any good? Wonder if this hampers Brentford transfer plans or were they trying to price buyers out.

Good thing that Milan has never been a propaganda tool for a powerful political entity

Fantastic through ball Madueke misses again

Started a great move before when Madueke went close

• Newcastle push statement transfer • Maddison cheaper, Szoboszlai more promising • Both players remain in the race • Szoboszlai clause (€70m) to be squeezed • Financial Fair Play requirements

Bruno was a Nickson pick wasn’t he, this is probably the same. Probably helps in talking to the player if you have someone who’s watched him plenty.
