This is the sort of shit I hate from Romano, proper suck up. Anyone with half a brain knows that Man U and definitely not Spurs would bid anything near that amount. Just pushes the whole Barca deserve everything because they are Barcelona narrative.

Rodrigo going to Qatar, thought at least a few Prem sides would have been sniffing about given his decent goal return in a poor team.
-
Really Villa should be the favourites for the Conference League. Really whichever Prem team qualifies for it should be the top seeds.

Yep Almost feels like the Barnes stuff was just so the journos could feel relevant for a while
-
That would be a great price for him, surprised there wasn’t more of a bidding war for him. Although admittedly I’ve only seen him play in snippets. Although 4 goals in 28 games is hardly going to solve Everton’s problems in front of goal.
-
Thought they could recreate the Trippier magic but he only ended up playing two games
-
I think the Prem would quickly institute a measure like they have done with Villa/Victoria and Brighton/Union SG if we tried it

Lyon’s (majority) owner has been in a bit of bother recently hasn’t he? Same bloke who has a stake in Palace.

Moment of silence for transfer columnists up and down the country. Milinkovic-Savic has finally moved. For real though he must be in the top ten most linked players (not to us, just in general) of all time.
-
The Botman saga was only public due to the excessive self-flagellation of AC Milan in the press
-
Quite like the idea of being able to cheer for Kane against English sides in the CL (not us obvs )

35m is a steal for an English player aged 25 who’s hit double figures in all competitions for the past three seasons. 25m would almost be daylight robbery.

I watched a video about Leicesters downfall a few weeks back and they actually cited a report their fancy new training ground being too big and it alienating the staff from the players. In smaller complexes like ours they all see each other regularly and consider themselves all part of the same unit and goal.
-
its definitely telling that nearly all the players who’ve been there for more than a few years want out
-
Yeah lots of people seem to have formed an opinion based on Everton where he broke through at 20. When things are absolutely toxic at a club the young local players become a lightening rod for criticism. He’s had a ridiculous amount of pressure on his shoulders. I’ve always said they threw him to the wolves that game where the board didn’t attend and his car got mobbed. I’d have no interest in playing for the club after that, local lad or otherwise. He’s a bit of an annoying shithouse, but he’s our annoying shit house.
-
Really weird no Edwards comment since it was his paper that broke the story
-
Hmmm it’s just the weird way the articles is written. Being talked about as a done deal without us even making a bid. Feels a bit like an attempt to to get more teams involved.

Tripper and the initial Botman interest were pre Ashworth. It’s clear our operation has tightened up considerably although still mainly working with a Nickson and co targets. Most of what’s we get to know when a transfer isn’t ‘out of the blue’ seems to depend on the other parties involved - selling club, selling club journos, rival bidders and agents. The Barnes stuff still feels agent driven but hopefully we will see in the next week if it’s real or not.

State of them two Man U fans
