  1. Good to see Brighton standing firm. Get every last penny from them I say.
  2. Not a lot you can do in this situation unfortunately when they haven’t yet signed pro terms. Chelsea do what they often do and offer ridic terms just to stack them high. Sure they did the same with a young Southampton player who was England captain in his age group.
  3. Ampadu is Chelsea’s longest serving player which seems mental
  4. We were linked in Jan weren’t we?
  5. Yeah it’s pretty great deal for both parties, massive profit for Inter on a player who was on a free. I hope he’s terrible but he probably won’t be.
  6. I mean it’s preseason game in torrential rain in a mostly uncovered stadium I don’t blame people for not showing up.
  7. Would take Ekitike on loan for a year although he’d still mainly be on the bench which his issue I suppose
  8. China was people trying to curry political favour with the state whereas In Saudi it is the state.
  9. People said that when Oscar went to China. I don’t think it says much apart from the fact that money talks.
  10. A quick google later… https://en.as.com/soccer/saudi-arabia-set-to-be-invited-to-play-at-next-copa-america-n/?outputType=amp
  11. Have they played in the Copa America yet? I know Qatar did
  12. Luton sign Tatih Chong, ex Man U prospect
  13. There’s been various ‘disruptor’ leagues in football history, from El Dorado (Colombia) in the 50’s, to the Chinese Super League and now the Saudi’s. None have ever really been able to overhaul the established countries and leagues. Sustainable leagues are built from the ground up (grassroots) and not by parachuting massive amounts of superstars on ridiculous wages in. It feels like this will be subject to the ebbs and flows of whatever the Saudi political situation is, if they get a World Cup you could see interest in a financially doped league fall away after. All these stars are only desirable to sign as they’ve made their name in the established European leagues. Will be interesting if they can produce their own superstar talent, I doubt they can, and even if they do they probably wouldn’t be taken seriously until they’ve played in Europe.
  14. Aren’t they banned from transfers by FIFA?
  15. Lodi fee was only €13m according to Romano
  16. Chelsea have had the knack in the past ten years of just sucking the personality out of really fun players.
  17. Juve is a proper clown show these days
  18. https://archive.is/rYJ8x there you go
  19. I wonder, if we are looking to sell Maxi if we are looking to line up whichever transfer that facilities at the same time so we aren’t left with clubs trying to squeeze us and potentially leaving us short?
  20. Jordan Henderson joining equifax
  21. They’ve signed some good players but I look at that Chelsea squad it doesn’t exactly fill me with fear. Not exactly packed with Prem experience, your main continuity players are two injury prone full backs and a centre half who will be close to 40 at the start of next season. Strike force is currently two young unproven players one having a half decent season with Villarreal and the other having missed an entire season with a ACL injury. You presume Lukaku and Auba will be peddled. Caicedo is good but his price and hype seems to be inflated way beyond anything realistic.
