In Aftonbladet they certainly do now at least. Wasn’t a quote when I saw it. Also it feels like their PL correspondent (Frida Fagerlund) really, really wants all Swedish players in London for some reason. She’s been pitching the Isak to Arsenal story non-stop during the winter.

Indeed. It’s beyond pathetic at this point and really oughta be questioned tbh. We have rotten luck but we’ve been a shambles both defensively and in possession for quite some time now. Bad luck and poor performances aren’t mutually exclusive.

We’re so fucking disappointing on a weekly basis at the moment. They say you earn your luck and at the moment we’re getting what we deserve even though that call for the 2nd goal is piss poor. Shit happens but we really need to get our own shit together before crying about bad luck.

Good thing we’ve got new excuses every week otherwise this would’ve been absolutely criminal. Let’s hope we can get our shit together.

Look a bit sluggish today to say the least. Brutal possession play, low tempo and the crowd sounds like they’re sleeping. Don’t know about that sub either - surely Hall at LB instead would have been better.

In a lot of other games we can play the “They’ve spent a billion on their team!”-card but not against Chelsea. Everyone is in agreement that they’ve spent bad - wasting a lot of money on average players. Today was a massive step back for me - there’s something massively wrong with us. Lack of squad depth, overworked players (Longstaff, Gordon, Burn and Schar) are excuses. But we lack the basic cohesion and passing of an even OK team at the moment. There’s still time to save the season but we’ve been saying “All it takes is putting on a run” since December and haven’t been able to. Missing out on Europe would surely be a miscalculation for both Eddie and the owners - and I honestly fear losing a couple of players I’d rather not lose this summer if we end up outside it. It’s a perfect storm though - Eddie hasn’t suddenly turned in to a shit manager. Lady luck, a few too many bad calls over the course of the season and (in hindsight) a poor transfer window in the summer has set us up for this.

And here I was sitting thinking the first half was poor. The second has been absolutely shocking.

Much better today - and decent options on the bench. Have to admit that I was a bit worried for today after the Blackburn game but we've mostly handled Wolves well this far. Onwards and upwards!
