  1. I'm sure Ashley has put in £25.5 million during this financial year, he might have to put in more before it comes to a close but I doubt it. I think it says in the accounts that he put in a further £25.5m before yearend (Dec 31 2009). Since then he has according to Llambias put in a further £5.5m for running costs, and £5.5m for transfers during January. But if that's true, who knows?
  2. £20 million a year only adds up to £60 million, he's already put in much more than that. He made the £20m a year statement AFTER Keegan went. He'd already paid in at least £70m the day he arrived which, the way I see it, was not part of the £20m a year he was always willing to bankroll us with. Current debt is £111m (up to 2009) plus £25m (09/10) which means his spending over 3 seasons is (111-70)+25 = £66m or £22m per season. Credit to him for sticking to his word....so far. Didn't he put in £36m this year. I'm sure I saw that somewhere. Right, here it is: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8553411.stm What Llambias said to the BBC doesn't tally with note on the accounts. Ok.

  4. I think Tosic has stated that he wants to stay in Germany.
  5. thats freddie eastwood. And Gignac as well.
  6. It's definitely Zlatan and Pique.
  7. For me it's either Forest or Blackpool. I think both of them have played some nice football this year and I definitely have more respect for both Billy Davies and Ian Holloway than Nigel Pearson or Dave Jones.
  8. Is the brackets figures successful passes? If so that's only completed 28 passes in 96mins+ of football. That's ridiculous. You'd think the word completed next to it would kind of give away the answer. 67 passes completed/successful.
  9. It's quite cool when the Red Wings' fans sing it during the playoffs though.
  10. I've seen Friends. And it's shit.
  11. Affirmative it was carrolls ex wasn't it and how would it justify a physical attack ? I thought it was the mother of Carroll's child? I honestly think I'd twat my friend or co-worker if any of them made a move for the mother of my children. Wouldn't you? Nah. I would have appreciated being asked beforehand if someone had serious intentions with an ex of mine, but I wouldn't expect it at all. Kid or no kid. (assuming it's a 100% dead relationship, no chance in hell of getting back together) I was under the assumption that Carroll and the lass were still together. But if they aren't then it's a different discussion altogether.

  13. So, to summarize: Carroll wacked Taylor in the face while the latter was in an ice bath. The "attack" was over Carroll's bird (which incidentally somewhat justifies it). But the extent of the damages for Taylor were grossly exaggerated in the press. Correct?

    Lookalikes

That is one good movie by the way.
  15. It's still rather fascinating that they have been able to keep this under wraps. Not a single leak from anyone.
  16. From the Michael Reiziger school of lips. She could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch with that mouth. Damn.
  17. Sounds a lot like a certain Irishman now plying his trade at Man City.
  18. That's this season's template isn't it?

    Messi

I can't fucking stand that little bastard. Yeah he's a fantastic player but an annoying, cheating, diving bastard nonetheless. How about some fucking dignity and respect for the game? He's the kind of player to applaud a referee for sending off an opponent who didn't touch him. The thing with Messi is that all people who hate CRonaldo for his antics have no problems whatsoever with Messi for exactly the same stuff. Goes for the whole Barca team really. Lost track of the number of times in their games when one of them falls over clutching the ball, and the ref falls for it every single time. It's sickening tbh. It's almost like they have a godgiven right to play football exactly how they want it. If it gets a bit tough there's always some wanker ref there to help them. I'll probably get slated for this, but for everything that's good about Barca there are a couple of things that are absolutely infuriating as well. Don't get me wrong, when they're on their game, they are absolutely excellent, but it's the little sly digs and falling over that does me in. They're good enough without having to con the ref and at the same time the general public IMO.
  20. It may have sounded like a joke, but they should all be looking like Enrique, no excuse not to unless you can run faster and for longer than Jose. And José is not exactly the Slim-meister either. Most of them could lose a few pounds of fat tbh.
  21. That's incredible, being able to watch football like that is the stuff of dreams. As I said it's really good. I think they've upped the bitrate now as well. Something like 2200-3600 kbps I think. As for the blackouts, that don't apply for the NHL. Which is very good for us overseas fans.
  22. The NHL offers this as well. It's called NHL Gamecenter Live in the US and ESPN has it for the international market. As a Swede I pay approximately 12 pounds per month and get to watch every single NHL game during both the regular season and the play offs.. It's great tbh. Great quality aswell.
