No. Kakuta would certainly count as a homegrown player. EDIT. If he stayed in England until he turns 21 that is.
-
To stop the clubs from stockpiling the most talented youth players we would have to have a standardised age for when to sign your first professional forms. Isn't this age limit different in different countries (which was why Fabregas went to Arsenal)?

I think so, which proves the ridiculous nature of the rule imo. More and more players are gonna be dragged across the world before they're out their teens. Not Mikel Obi right? Isn't the rule that a player has to be part of an English set-up for three years or three full seasons before their 21st birthday to be counted as homegrown. Mikel Obi signed for Chelsea when he was 19 which would make this impossible since he would've been 22 at the end of the third season.

Good goal from Shola. Piss poor goalkeeping from Krul on their 2nd.

Signed. Official Club SMS.

Oh, and Tokushima Vortis is winning 2-1 against Sagan Tosu in the Japanese 2nd division with a couple of minutes left.

What games are on today then? Lyngby - Aalborg, Danish SAS League Tromsø-Lillestrøm, Norwegian League ...among others.

Vuckic!

Assist by Routledge again.

Sounded like a good goal as well. Through ball by Routledge (no surprise there), and Best took it round the keeper and slotted home.

Best!!!!

Then it would be smart to either have the Norwegian or Swedish team as they play their football from spring to autumn. The Swedish Allsvenskan shows every single game on tv as well so it shouldn't be a problem to actually watch the games from time to time.

Luke Edwards: Oh and I can exclusively reveal that Jose Enrique has put most weight on over summer and Danny Guthrie thinks #nufc training kit is v nice

I agree. Much rather have Perch as back-up for RB/LB (or maybe even first choice RB ahead of Simpson) than JLS that's for sure.

What with Platini and co. waiting to prove a point in regards to football finances how come no one mentions Barcelona's debts. Their debts rose to €320 million in the latest accounts. Can't be good, even for such a huge club? I am sure, i heard something on ssn a year or 2 ago that30 % of players in England are English 40 % of players in Germany are German 60% ofplayers in spain are Spanish and 70 % of players in Italy are Italian. And what's the percentage of foreigners at Real and Barça, given that most of the Spanish team comes from those two clubs? 52,4% foreigners in Barca's first team. 58,3% in Real's. EDIT: But on the other hand, the numbers for Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool are 70,4%, 67,7%, 86,7% and 77,8% respectively.

Surely you must have scored some goals as well VI? I remember my last season in the youth team as a goalie. I was captain, designated PK/FK taker. Won the scoring charts by a landslide. 18 games, 6 goals conceded, 29 scored. That was probably the most fun season I've ever had. I've also been fortunate enough to save a couple of penalties in play-off matches and stuff like that. Let's hope for another one this year.

Depends on your supplier. If you have a satellite dish through Viasat you'll be able to see all 380 games live. If you have cable through some other supplier like Comhem, you'll get 300 games if you can use the HD channels and 250 games if you only have SD channels. Still pretty good though. Viasat also have some ondemand service (internet stream) where they show Champions League live, and probably will show all Premier League games too. It cost 159 sek/month (£14/month). Well, if this isn't an incentive to get yourself a satellite dish, I don't know what is. I've already made a deal with my landlord to install a dish at the roof of the house where I live. Nice.

I certainly hope we're safe before the last six games. What a fucked up run-in.

Scandinavia is awesome. It sure is. How much will you have to pay for it in Norway? 199 or 239 for online streaming, can't remember. And think it's 249 to 299 depending on your distributor for TV. That being roughly £25 a month for every single premiership match. Bit different to Sky and their £50 a month for 4 games a week. Or roughly about £13 a month in Sweden.

That's quite good actually. But expensive in comparison to us. I pay 139 SEK/month for all the Viasat Sports channels.

Random thread bump. Just saw that Viasat will broadcast all 380 PL games on their tv channels LIVE here in Sweden. Lovely!
