  4. uruguay game live on bet365...nacho starting and has looked good so far
  5. Last time I checked both the Premier League and the Turkisk Süper Lig had been won by three different teams during the last 10 years. Going by your own logic you'd definitely say no to Wenger, Ferguson or Mourinho as well then?
  6. I don't know why people have got it in their heads that Jimenez is scouting for us. As far as I know he was appointed as a director in regards to the financial bits of a transfer. He's the one who contacts the other club, agent and player to try to thrash out an acceptable deal for us...or am I missing something. AFAIK it's like this; Dennis Wise; Oversees the academy and transfers of young players for the academy Tony Jimenez; Above Jeff Vetere; Head Scout who gives KK a list to pick from and sends the other scouts on missions. KK; Has the final word on transfers but isn't the one doing the scouting or negotiations. This is how the setup works in theory I presume, if it does practically is another thing though. The thing is that KK supposedly knew all this in January when he came back, so why try to fight it? There has been rumours doing the rounds during the summer that KK has tried to compile his own transfers, which in a moral sense is a breach of contract in my view. He wasn't hired to handle the transfers, he was hired to take care of the First Team and the players bought for him which he had OK'd. Tin hat on...
  7. Yep, but they've been slow as fuck since Guthrie...
  8. They're all coming in by parachute. That actually would be quite special...and somewhat cringetastic
  9. Re: Coloccini he's waiting in the shadows for a late triple announcement with Derdiyok & Xavi. )
  10. Seriously, the youngsters can't all be that bad that KK won't even use them in a friendly
  11. This would be an awesome signing. Argie, great hair, bruiser what more could one ask for in a central defender?
  12. 40min - NEWCASTLE GOAL (1-1): The Magpies break at pace with Milner, he has DAMIEN DUFF supporting to his right and he finds the Irishman with a well-weighted ball, the winger has just Humprhreys to beat but instead works a yard for a shot before curling left-footed into the far corner from just inside the penalty area.
  13. jimmy nelson? walton couldnt even get a game for west allotment (local part time non league team) last season. i believe he has rapped in to start boxing? Nelson yeah. That's right...lovely bloke though...
  14. just what I was thinking. Or maybe Milner's taking 1 step in to CM. Still think he'd make good there, but that's for another thread.
  15. Well, he was in the starting 11 for Argentina's WCQ away to Brazil 2 weeks ago. Can't be too bad..
