  1. Looks more like a mini version of Titus Bramble to me.
  2. Ronaldo

    Shola Ameobi

Shola is as thick as pigshite. He'd struggle to manage a sock drawer.
  3. Keegan should hang his head in shame for making that abomination of a human being a captain.
  4. Looks like there's far more differences to me.
  5. He probably does more running during PL games now than he did as an NUFC player.
  6. He's just putting a brave face on it. He knows deep down they're not going to leapfrog either of the Mancs, Chelsea or Spurs this season. Or next season. Or the season after that.
  7. I think people know Silva is the better player, but there's no real point in assigning him a hypothetical value or linking him to other clubs simply due to the fact he's a Man City player. Plus, Modric plays for Spurs and therefore has the non-claret-and-blue half of the London media firmly caressing his prostate.
  8. I see 4 teams who are miles ahead of Liverpool, personally.
  9. Don't see why folk care if Arsenal get through or not.
  10. Give over, man. It's painfully obvious he wanted it that way.
  11. thats probably why we didnt go players lke bendtner which makes sense. Ba-Best-Ameobi are all big and strong. A smaller and faster to take the deep runs at defenses would be good for us? Løvenkrands? What?
  12. Just wondering if you completely forgot Keane or are you saying Ince/Butt were a different type of player? I'd class Keane in a seperate category as he was an excellent footballer on top of being a great DM so doesn't really fit into the point being made. Also the "past half decade" comment was referring to Fergie's post-Keane midfield. Yep. Prime Keane really drove the team forward in a manner than Tiote simply can't.
  13. Michael Carrick was near £18m and he is far more 'technically limited' than Tiote. You can't be serious.
  14. This comment made me have a look around Blackburn on Google Streetview and holy s***, Blackburn is a dire dire place. Looks like time just stood still since the 70s and nothing's happened since. Most of the football grounds in this country are in the run-down or industrial parts of town. SJP is one of the exceptions. Blackburn is an absolute hellhole, though. The road that brings you in from nearby (and rather pleasant) Bolton is aptly called the A666.
  15. I'm sure it did actually fall down during 2009. A quick trip to B&Q sorted that one with the help of one of those 55-year-old fellas in orange aprons.
  16. Funnily enough, I was about to post this again after seeing the opening 2 posts.
  17. I said he'd turn out to be superb when City bought him but he's looking even better than that, tbh. Could be a world beater if he wants it.
  18. I might go along to this. I'd imagine you can probably see the game from the top of that big hill next to the main stand.
  19. What the fuck was Harper playing at?
