  1. I don't think there's anything negative or 'queer' like you say really about caring about a player who's left the football club just over a month ago tbh. There were players I've stoped following immediately, like Cacapa or Emre. They went and were gone for good. In Barton's case it would always be something different imo. Especially for me as he's been my favourite player and the fact that I still like him. I always got the impression you didn't like Barton.
  2. Nice edit. Not unless they're queer.
  3. Who cares about Joey Barton?
  4. Capello can? Christ. I'd give Capello a 10-year contract right now if I thought it'd prevent Beckham from getting the job. Stupid footballers don't make good managers, it's as simple as that.
  5. Good read. It's only a matter of time before he relapses though.
  6. I think that proves me to be correct.
  7. You'd have had Shearer down as a great pundit a few years back. He certainly didn't care who he pissed off on the pitch, and he put everything into his performances - even when he couldn't run, for two years. On the sofa he's lazy and even placatory.
  8. We all know he's daft enough to play him, man. He's daft enough to think he'd still score goals at international level.
  9. You shouldn't expect to be playing for your club if you're putting in crap performances for them week after week. Big Al still selected him, mostly.
  10. Where does he say Owen would be in his England side if he was manager? It's apparent.
  11. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/8804616/Alan-Shearer-I-would-still-love-to-manage-England-one-day-but-there-are-experienced-candidates-in-front-of-me.html
  12. It's like taking pieces from several perfectly good jigsaws and trying to make a new one. Always ends up looking ridiculous and wasting a weekend.
  13. Even Shearer was talking about being England manager the other day. Owen would be in his side, apparently.
  14. He was asked about Rooney's temperament tonight and responsed with an incoherent ramble about 'first 35 minutes'. You're insane if you think this man is fit to convey intricate footballing instructions to 11 different men who probably all think they know better anyhow. Painfully obvious that England won't prosper while he's the head coach.
  15. Dresden, man, go to bed.
  16. National coach that can't speak English and gave us the worst England WC performance in over 20 years. Will be gone in 9 months. Such scope for a debate.
  17. Yeah, grit is certainly the most noticeable thing about the Spurs side.
  18. Quite. What a queer. It's poorly worded and that's my fault ofc. Basically our players limitations don't allow them to comfortably compete for Championships when pitched against superior sides. There are several sides who are superior to us. Capello may have had the squad underachieving in some performances, but that loss to Germany was pretty expected and would have taken Capello's players playing at 100% for almost the entire game. And none of that has anything to do with the fact that our national coach, who's held that position for almost 4 years, can barely string a sentence together in English. It's ludicrous.
  19. The same Scholes who didn't go to the last WC because Capello didn't ring him?
  20. I have no idea what excuses these are that aren't 100% spot on? Pick them out for me... I don't have to. They're all nonsense.
