I expect him to get to those shots, tbh. But he faced an unacceptable amount of crosses today, and dealt with them like a 40-year-old veteran. Absolutely superb.

Ba absolutely had to go off when he did. He looked absolutely gone from the 50th minute, for whatever reason. I can see his reasoning behind not risking Ben Arfa or Marveaux against thugs, but Sammy surely would have given us a decent outlet, which is what we desperately needed in the last 20 minutes of the game. That said, he deserves massive credit for the first half. We were absolutely splendid. Great to watch and got the goals.

This is exactly the type of team I hoped we'd try to build after relegation. We're going to finish 4th if Ben Arfa's gets up to speed, I can feel it.

Thought he's been better than Woodgate for a while now. Woodgate was brilliant, but the way people talk about him it's as if he's completely faultless. Yep, Woodgate certainly made mistakes, like all defenders - including probably the costliest mistake I've ever seen at SJP. Colo contributes more to our overall play than Woodgate did.
