You're talking about him like he was a world beater. He was an exceptional domestic-level forward who scored lots of goals. He isn't top tier.

well he is, its his position...its the otherway round in my opinion, he just so happens to have a good athleticism and is able to use other aspects of his game... Well, no, it's not. Stop being brainless. He lies deeper than at least two or three of the other Chelsea players on the pitch. He's more of a playmaker than a targetman. He even takes the fucking free-kicks and corners some of the time.

How doesn't he deserve a 10 for goalscoring like? Because in the history of football, there have been better goalscorers. Giving him a 10 for heading is ludicrous; Ferdinand and Carroll are two of our former players who did it better.

Drogba isn't a targetman. He's just a very well-rounded forward techincally and athletically who happens to be good with his back to goal.

No way in hell does Shearer deserve a 10 for both heading and goalscoring, like. Not unless there's an 11, 12 or 13.

I said it 2 years back - the conventional target man no longer exists in top level football. That's not to say it isn't useful to have players with size and strength in the final third.
