  1. Bolton are a shocking team away from home. It's no real achievement to have nullified them.
  2. Age clearly hasn't had much bearing on your knowledge, all you ever do is loiter around like Garth Crooks, talking for extended periods without saying anything. And yet again, you haven't made a single decent or even relevant point in a relatively long post. And like you need 'omnipresence' to have seen Rio Ferdinand and Jonathan Woodgate, man. Not to mention Ronaldo, whose every game (almost) up until around 2008 was broadcast somewhere on English TV. Good to see you researched my age, though. Quite stupid to use it in conjuction with a player who retired last week, like. Idiot.
  3. He's been our MOTM on at least 2 occasions this season.
  4. Bout time he scored. He's been very poor for a while now.
  5. So they were both correct and cast iron. Linespeople (guffaw) cannot win. But it does demonstrate where the likes of Best need to improve and quick - learn to read the movement of the defence and catch them on the back foot, rather than running off like a headless chicken and wasting a perfectly good opportunity. Being 2 inches offside is running off like a headless chicken?

I think you're wrong. He did it very well the first season. (promotion). In the second he achieved a FA-cup final which they were unlucky not to win and qualified for Europe . The third season however, Ashton was also ruled KO. He was in his prime form. It would have been the same as removing either Colo or Titoe from our team. As a manager for a newly promoted team, you're always sensitive for injuries on key players. Some players are irreplaceable, period. As Pardew himself pointed out, without Ashton's injury he probably would have kept the job. And he's right. Too bad that boards often do not consider the effect of injuries on important players. And this is in particular important for newly promoted/small teams. In Soton he was treated like s***, according to some rapports. But he should not have poked Mr. Johnson into "reserved holes", of course. He was not sacked due to lack of results, but because Soton wished a more humble and down to earth manager. Charlton was already a sinking ship when he took over. He had no money to use at all. Every player that has trained under Pardew say he's a very skilled manager, and that he's good with people. His critics has pointed out that he can probably sound arrogant and uses too much authority because he knows he's right. The point is that almost every person learns from his mistakes. It's how we become better humans and function better in our jobs. And this goes for Pardew too. He's now done his mistakes, he will never do what he did in Soton again. And that's why he will not be that arrogant in NUFC. He's actually been quite humble in his approach to this job. In particular his respect for CH's work has been impressive. In sum MA has appointed a highly motivated, skilled manager, that is interested in rectifying previous errors. He had bloody Tevez and Mascherno, it's like removing Colo for Puyol and Tiote for Xabi Alonso Players he didn't want and couldn't fit into his system. Come on they're both world class, you make the system fit around them. Neither were world class back then. Mascherano isn't even world class right now. I'd rather have Tiote.

What's with the influx of incredibly shite posters? Seriously, man, Ethi opened the floodgates.

You're the one who looks stupid for not recognizing an improvement.
  9. You can easily apply that logic to 6 months earlier. They turned down bids for Rio for £20m plus.

You 'feel' for a footballer who gets paid probably 5 times what he's actually worth and repays us with a red card on the back of 2 years of 'performances' that almost make Alan Smith look useful? Give over.

No he wasn't. He's proved time and time again that he doesn't pull his weight.
  12. Then I guess you haven't seen him play when he was in NUFC? Leeds sold Ferdinand with a smile on their faces because they knew Woody was better. Too bad he's crippled. He would have kept either Ferdinand or Terry out of the national team. They knew Woody was better yet sold him 6 months after Ferdinand for a third of the price.

Did well again today. My only problems with him are the loaning out of Routledge and constant inclusion of Lovenkrands. We literally look a different team when the useless pile of shite is replaced with Ranger.

Was handed a highly undeserved chance today, and did that with it. Cunt should be fined a month's wages and never play again.
  15. Radio said he was having a decent game till the sending off The radio are absolute cunts.

Should never play for us again.

He's had the ball 3 times. His movement is abysmal.
  18. Ryan Taylor and Lovenkrands might aswell have watched from the stands. Neither want to assert themselves.
  19. What on earth is wrong with Tiote? He's given the ball away about 10 times in the last 10 minutes.
