No.
Youd play what instead? Lua lua & vuckic? Massively experienced there yeah.
Who cares? Alan Smith shouldn't be anywhere near. It serves no purpose whatsoever to put him in the team ahead of a talented prospect like Vuckic.
His anticipation is good but his movement often lacks tact and timing, which is why he's offside so much.
As for his pace, it completely disappears when he gets the ball or has to combine it with strength.
Laughable that a certain poster on here called James a 'very good' goalkeeper.
Laughable that Rob Green was your number 1 choice England goalkeeper.
Not really, he's better (and had a better season) than James and more experienced than Hart. In retrospect, young Joe should have got the nod, but no choice from the 3 could be considered laughable.
Yes, in a word.
It would be nice if we could go back to 1996, when all of our players we're basically good, even-tempered fellas. But it's not realistic, especially today. Plus, as bad as Bellamy is, he's hardly El hadj cunt.
I'd worry about Sol in the last 15 minutes of games, it's only natural that he'll slow down considerably. The Wigan and Stoke (cup) games from last season are a good example of this.
Colo's had one iffy season and one in which he's been our best player. Taylor hasn't had one single good season in my book. There's not a lot to compare anyway.
