People wanting to shift Colo completely neglect to consider what it leaves us with at CB.
-
Someone on here posted an article a couple of weeks back about 2 installments being the maximum.
-
I thought you weren't allowed to pay transfer fees in 3 installments? That £4m surely isn't from Milner's sale if true.
-
Martins or Bassong.
-
Again.

Eh? Pretty much my reaction to reading that I'm sorry, after reading Ronaldo's post I assumed we were all making up imaginary bets? Poor. Ronaldo even usually posts screenshots of his bets, man, most believable better on here after madras.
-
I wouldn't. He is really poor positionally. After that 'performance' at Leicester I'd hoped that Ryan Taylor would never play for us again. Shocking buy.

In your opinion. So, how are you going to prove it then? Would imagine by pointing out all have scored well in excess of 42 top flight goals in their careers is a decent starting point As a good starting point, how are they all faring NOW? My point is which seems to have escaped you is that, next season, IMO, I dont think any of those players listed above will perform any better than Shola can for us. Most of them are not even wanted by their respective clubs anyway. Furthermore, for the majority of their careers in the PL, the likes of Yakubu, Beattie, Roberts etc have b een first choice for their respective c;lubs, something which Ameobi clearly has not b een. Yet, he has still scored goals regularly when started. However, I wouldnt expect you to agree so it is pointless discussing the matter further. Macca, Shola had 4 years under Robson and 6 training with Shearer everyday. At 29 (almost) he makes the same stupid mistakes he did at 21, arms across the face whilst challenging in the air, offside more than Benitez, Adebayor and Martins combined, not to mention that ridiculous habbit of lying on the ground and smiling when a decision goes against him. He's had the time and the teaching but he hasn't learnt and never will. The Shola of 03-06 would be useful next season but even he is long gone. A place on the bench for the current version is fine, but if we need to rely on him, forget it.

I hate this Twitter business but Barton's is absolutely priceless, some recent ones: "Pretty sure I met Jesus last night." "He told me I was going places. Then passed me a cigar." "Fair play nice bloke." "Fuck me my eyesight is getting bad. Went to post a letter today an almost blinded a muslim woman. "

Klasnic, Yakubu, Heskey, Roberts, Beattie and Yakubu are all better players, especially the Yak.
-
I really wish we'd got Australia, what an absolutely abysmal outfit.
-
Oh, just realised that if Cardiff win and Inter lift the trophy, I have over £700.
-
Macca, every criticism you've perhaps righly pointed at Boyd is far more applicable to Shola. Truth be told, i'd rather have Shola in the squad than Best or Lovenkrands though.

From which ice cream van in the sky did you get that information? He was at one point, he's 4th now. Behind Cesc, Lampard, and Drogba. Not bad company. Lampard, Cesc, Drogba.

3 years ago (in a stronger market) Florent Malouda was signed by Chelsea for £13m. Milner is about half the player.
-
No, we're talking context now. In today's market Man City aren't an accurate guage of value we all know it.
-
Thanks for making my point. They paid it, he was worth it (to the selling club). I think you're getting a tad confused here. All I said is that £20m for Milner is a joke, just like £23 for Lescott is a joke. Neither player is worth those sums, Milner especially.
-
The same Man City who psaid £23m for a £12m defender?
-
£20m for Milner truly is a joke.
-
Boyd may be unproven in the prem, but at least there's hope for him. We all know Shola won't cut it.
-
Macca just likes to disagreee with me.

He won the ball, Dave. Alonso has a history of getting our midfielders sent off, just a shame Joey didn't sent his kneecap into the stand.
