I thought he was awesome. Yeah, in 2006/2007 season he was on fire. Great memories from those European nights. 1 season out of 3. wow not good enough for a striker on 80k a week and cost 10 million No doubt about it, he was a t***. He had his moments though and I have some very fond memories of him (namely our 4-3 win at tottenham). 3-2. He had 2 good seasons and one poor one where he struggled with form and injuries. I'd take him back in a second for £7m on cheaper wages.

When did Taylor and Bassong start together? Maybe twice. The answer is 08/09, but Kinnear, Hughton and Shearer completely failed to get the best out of them.

Carroll has 3, Lovenkrands the same amount, Shola will perhaps get you 7 in the league at best and Nolan was averaging 3 in his last 3 premier league seasons. People need to get real, the current squad would have to overachieve in order to finish 14th-17th.

None anywhere near Carew's league though. What even is an alternative to Lovenkrands? He's basically a poacher with iffy finishing.

So you've forgotten his decent performances earlier in the season already? He's not particularly good, I'd try to get rid of him in the summer. However we're talking about Butt, are you telling me he's contributed no more then Nicky f***ing Butt?
