The arrogant ones are the foreigners/ex-pats who come on here and accuse folk who spend over a grand a year following the toon of being too critical of certain players and the management.
What the hell has setting further up the pitch got to do with running? We're fine at home with exactly the same players. You don't even know what point you're arguing.
They did play three central defenders today which might have changed things slightly from that game.
And what on earth does that have to do with us not going at them from the start?
I've said this before, when the players use their own initiative to attack, we get goals with ease. When following Hughton's plan, things aren't quite the same.
He seems to be the type of striker who 99% of the time is incapble of doing anything in the final third with the ball at his feet, even against the most shoddy of defenders.
The entire team needs to move up the pitch and condense the play. Plymouth Argyle scored 3 past that lot through the week, we should have gone at them from the start.
I have to say though, Colo, Enrique, Guthrie and Jonas should all be ahead of Lovenkrands.
He's rightfully won a lot of fans in the last couple months by playing so well in the aftermath of his dad's death.
You can't make the same runs on the wing that you make through the middle, he isn't physically strong on the ball and tend not to beat players. Never in a million years a winger, although I confess that when he joined 14 months ago I thought it would be his position.
How well do you think Van Nistelrooj would do if he was played on the wing? He was terrible there, doesn't mean he couldn't be bothered. Lovenkrands runs his bollocks off every game.
