Coloccini probably passes the ball better than anybody at the club (although Guthrie on his day is a very efficient distributor). I can completely see why folk would like to see him in midfield but realistically his presence is needed more in the centre of defence. Anybody advocating a partnership of Williamson and Hall for the rest of the season simply doesn't know how bad Hall actually is. Although he seems to have done alright so far in fairness to him.

Those players didn't survive, mate. They're all playing in the championship.

It's testament to how non-functioning our CM is. People want our best winger and best defender in there, Enrique will be next.

Harper, Jonas, Barton, Guthrie (maybe, as I've said), Routledge, Smith, Lovenkrands, Carroll are players I'm confident of that they can do a job for us next season (in the Premier Leauge). We won't get to top 6 or top 8 with those players but we should be able to stay up. Very optimistic, a fair few of those just haven't performed well at top level.

He's our best defender and should stay in defence.
