  1. 31 years old and on £50k+ a week, hardly sensible. Why not? Cheap to buy and he'd keep us up if he could stay fit. Not saying he'd be my first choice, just a solid, realistic one. He'd never make it onto the pitch and that isn't just because of his injuries either. You could say that for pretty much any creative central midfielder that we could realistically get. Why, do they all have the same lifestyle as Bullard? Elaborate please. He has a reputation for his lifestyle off the pitch. If he moved to Newcastle, I'm certain it'd be worse. As I said, 'If he could say fit'.
  2. I don't really see Barton as a creative type either, but i'd easily rather have him in the middle than those two right now.

  4. Brings me to my first choice: Miguel de las Cuevas.

  6. Barton, are we really still flogging that dead horse? We'll more than likely have f*** all to spend, Barton's a much better option than spunking 3/4m of much needed money on someone on the way down like some of the names already mentioned. Cleverley is a shout as he'll be free. Barton is always injured, is paid way too much, and is a shockingly average player. Not for Man City he wasn't. I think the last 3 seasons are more relevant. Alright, not for us under Keegan he wasn't. Last season was obviously a complete write off because of injury. A tiny bit of form at the end of that season isn't enough. Owen and Viduka were good during that period aswell, but i wouldn't want them here next season. Viduka's finished, and Owen had all season to show he could be valuable to us, and failed.

  10. Seriously though, Dos Santos is built like an 8 year old, he'd not last 3 games in the centre. I'd happily play him off the striker or out wide though.
  11. How? Bolton have the potential to at least be a mid-table Premier League club, Burnley have no money, Championship squad, it's a step up definitely. I don't see that potential at all, terrible bunch of players.
  12. Would get bullied from pillar to post in the centre of midfield.
  13. Hard to disagree Should be starting every game, cant build consistancy coming off the bench with 10 mins left in each game Look at you, quoting a Man U fan called Wesley Millington. You're an embarrassment mate, give it up.
  14. Bloody hell man, I know he sometimes comes across as a bit arrogant with his posting style, but that's a bit excessive. Well i'm sorry, but i've had enough of it.
  15. Beckford and Shola should be fine, but I can barely think of a partnership less suited to playing route one football, has to be dropped asap.
  16. Smith is twice the player Butt is. With the exception of Shola I don't have any real faith in those strikers to score, we easily need another.
  17. Simpson's attacking weaknesses are only so evident because there's no natural flair in front of him.
  18. Oh well, looks like I was completely wrong about him being able to be 'Our Giggs' if Colochester United are going to sign him up.
