  1. Yeah, think i'm starting to get a feel for Serie A. Nearly 2/1 for Milan was ridiculous mind, like buying money.
  2. Betfair is a betting exchange.
  3. Skybet generally gives the best odds.
  4. He's looked class in the 3 games that i've seen him play for Forrest. Not enough to go on really but he's defintely one to watch. And what a fucking goal on friday.
  5. Fair play, but with the exception of that horrific Portsmouth game I was glad to have him in the team in 07-08. He was completely shot when he came to us sadly.
  6. The fact he bet so much on an ANC game make it all the more ridiculous, they're about as straight as an arabic sword over there.
  7. I'm almost tempted at 6/1 tbh, fantastic odds.
  8. Ronaldo

    Lookalikes

    He suffers from acromegaly.
  9. Shove him up front with Shola, he's more effective than AC. Aye. I think Nolan is more effective behind two strikers though. In an ideal world we'd play with Barton and Nolan in the middle and be positive at home. Away from home i'd always play Smith though.
  10. He'll probably end up on the right side of midfield. If we don't get Beckford I can see him being used alongside Smith with Nolan up front, especially away from home. The main thing is, he'll surely be ahead of Butt in the pecking order which will most certainly lead to better football away from home. Better use and possession of the ball is something i think he'll bring.
  11. Serie A is a bit like the premiership in that there's about 8 teams who can play a bit and 12 who are absolute shite.
  12. When Taylor has captained us to the quarter-finals of the champions league we'll come back and discuss that one.
  13. Forgive me being a realist. I could come out with rubbish like 'Beckford's going to become a top premiership striker' or assert that Carroll is the next Shearer and Ranger will get 10 goals this season. Nice to think, but it isn't much a contribution to the forum imo. Anyway, I'm out, gotta go to work to get rid of the pent-up frustration.
  14. Here's me thinking it was it Skirge who woke at 8 this morning and decided to a go, unprovoked.
  15. What's so bad about that? Come on man, he's started 2 games.
  16. Figures that you prefer to ignore the posts from someone who's probably watched Beckford more than anyone else on this board. You're living in a fantasy world skirge, grow the f*** up man. It's better than you're attitude of 'I KNOW I'M RIGHT, I'M ALWAYS RIGHT. I KNOW MORE ABOUT LEEDS THAN ANYONE!!! LA LA LA..." Not really, least when I argue with it's folk there's generally something to back it up with. Skirge just does it out of romanticized optermism.

  18. They would never ask for £6M man, not for a player who was playing non-league football at 22 and hasn't set foot inside the top two divisons.
  19. I had no reason to, it was his first season in England with a club in turmoil. Nobody not called Michael Owen or Nicky Butt got a lot of criticism from me last season.
  20. I criticised him before that too but I cant be arsed going through my thousands of posts TTTT.
  21. Youngish, English goalscorer. I'd say £4M ish. But that's essentially market value as opposed to true footballing value.
  22. I said Coloccini had played s**** on a number of occassions last season and questioned his somewhat passive attitude on the pitch. Credit where due, and the lad deserves an awful lot this season.
