Especially compared with the 3rd round Carling Cup tie against us.
-
Yeah, it's brilliant. In addition to giving by far the best odds of course.
-
If I though the opinions were worthless I wouldn't argue against them in the first place. The discussion in this thread tonight has been pretty good, I think.

Hell of a strike, Portsmouth are in a hell a mess. Shame for Grant, who's easily good enough to keep this rabble up, if they were getting paid on time.....
-
Yeah, same with Drogba imo.
-
Thought this was a forum for debate, ban me if i'm wrong. Sitting on the fence and trying to constantly look cool doesn't appeal to me.
-
Take it you disagree with me then eh.
-
Says the fan of a stiker who's record is 34 championship games and 5 goals. Give over man, offer some sort of valid opinion instead of just spouting shite.
-
On a par with the most daft thing i've heard today (and i've listened to Darren Gough for 3 hours) but fair play to you for being honest.
-
What on earth does that have to with his control? You know man.. I have flalwess ball control when I'm playing keepy-ups in my room. I bet most League 2 players also do. Defenders man, you know the guys that stop you from controlling the ball. I think of ball control as the way you stop the ball and dribble under pressure. Are you saying that Carroll has better control than Loven because he holds players off better?
-
Actually no, they don't. See if you can spot why.
-
Cheers lads. Not that it'll win you any fans on this board, the growing trend being to say stuff like 'Never seen him play but he must be s**** coz he plays for Leeds.'
-
This is what i've asked lads, sensible answers please. Chelsea . Liverpool had Crouch at that time. Fiorentina - they got a champions league spot with Luca Toni and his record breaking year Better, but you see my point? Playing with a target man isn't the way to go anymore.
-
This is what i've asked lads, sensible answers please. Last season.. Edin Dzeko - Wolfsburg - won the league Marouane Chamakh - Bordeaux - won the league
-
And Barca.

You don't think 21 goals in 35 games in 05-06 is a good return? Of course not, because YOU'RE RONALDO. King bullshitter of Newcastle Online. Oooohhh Look at meeeee. I'm Ronaldoooo. I'll argue black is white just so people look at me. Whoppeeeeeeee RvN wasn't successful because I SAY SO!!!! Aren't I SOOOOO different to the rest of the posters on here???!?!?!?!? Van Nistelrooj spen the last 3 months of that season on the bench. And they won nowt that season. You didn't answer my question. Do you consider 21 goals in 35 games a successful return? Of course it is. I said successful team, not successful player. I've said in the past many times than I love RNN as a player, no idea what you're getting at.

So when Man Utd were constantly getting the ball out wide and whipping balls into the area ...? and when he was linking up with the midfield by holding off a defender.. that's not a target man? since when? Van Nistelrooj is an out and out poacher. Man U have never played a style to accomdate a target man, especially not in the last 5 years.
-
Morientes and Vieri, in the last 5 years? Toni is a target man but hasn't been succcesful at club level in the 3 countries I mentioned. Iaquinta hasn't been successful at all, not quite sure i'd call him a target man either.
-
Never in a million years a target man and hasn't been succesful with them in the last 5 years.
-
There is absolutely no way he's a conventional target man, plays on the shoulder as much if not more as he drops deep these days.
-
What on earth does that have to with his control?
-
Name me one succesful team in England, Italy or Spain in the last 5 years that uses a conventional target man please. And Drogba most certainly isn't one just because he's strong and good in the air.
-
I knew you'd conclude that, the fine football connaisseur that you are.. But guess what, you're wrong.. AGAIN! Like when I told you Lovenkrands had better control than Carroll and you disagreed?
