I said Kadar looked a liability and anyone who was at the game probably felt the same. I haven't made any judgement on his long term potential but right now we can be thankful he's 4th or 5th choice.

We've conceded the least in the league because we have the 3 best defenders and the best keeper in the league. The long ball tactics do nowt but f*** up our possession and invite pressure.

Young players get an embarrassing level of protection on here. If it was up to some we'd have stuck with Paul Huntington.

We'll probably add at least 10% to possession, which usually helps. And we'll stop looking so vulnerable to concede and unlikely to score.

The long ball nonsense has to stop, it's a baffling style to use given the players we have at our disposal and the experience the defenders in this league will have playing against that style.

If Ranger and Carroll play together (and I hope they don't) there needs to be an element of clairity over who's going to do the donkey work and who's going to sit and wait for the break forward. Against QPR in particular the pair of them looked clueless as to who should be doing what and as a result they tbh just scrapped for every ball, giving us as much cutting edge as a wet sponge.
