  1. Ronaldo

    Strongest Eleven

    Honestly, you lot, man.
  2. Us, Norwich, Villa, QPR, Derby, Ipswich.
  3. Sissoko played for himself and, quite frankly, wasn't that good. Then, quite frankly, you're not that bright.
  4. He was, yes. There's not much competition, like. Who would say it is?
  5. Mate, he was gone the second we were relegated, why are you having a hissy fit now. Personally I'm happy I no longer have to see the bloke in a Newcastle shirt again and have faith that Rafa will improve us once we've won promotion this season. Nowt to do with Ashley having money in his pocket. If we fail to go up, your whinging will have some merit. There's no hissy fit. I just really don't see anything to be happy about. We sold our best player in the last hour of the transfer window with no possibility of a replacement. I don't strongly envisage the money being reinvested in the team in January or next summer, either.
  6. Yeah, OK. They were 11 points behind the winners on 70 points - the same amount we achieved in '02 when we finished 4th.
  7. 83 people happy that billionaire Mike Ashley's £6m a year richer.
  8. Lee Charnley. I know, tell me about it. Some people just can't wait to stick their tongue up a different arsehole.
  9. Absolutely fucking exactly.
  10. Another one who got a contract he did precisely nothing to deserve.
  11. He's basically reverted to pre Rafa days simply because some absolute prick who did fuck all to keep us up last season and is desperate to leave is now leaving, baffling like IMO. I wouldn't be saying owt, but it's being celebrated like it somehow puts us in a stronger position to get promoted. It really doesn't.
  12. I'd just rather we kept our best players, tbh. If Mike Ashley pocketing £30m gets you hard, fair play. His overall performance and contribution last season was shite, he vehemently doesn't want to be here, and he's taken a massive strop over not being able to leave which would instantly transfer to the dressing room and onto the pitch. I can't see why anyone would be unhappy about this transfer other than to be pointlessly contrary. As fans we get nothing out of this, man. If he'd stayed we'd be a better side. It's not tough to figure out. I'm not gutted. But there's nothing to celebrate here, at all.
  13. Yep. A relegated club who've made a massive profit when we should actually be spending a bit more money to ensure promotion.
  14. I'd just rather we kept our best players, tbh. If Mike Ashley pocketing £30m gets you hard, fair play.
  15. Aye, because that's how it's always worked in the past. Aye and we've always had a proper manager in the past as well of course. We had one in 2008, too. Anyone convinced that we'll reinvest the transfer fee in the team should probably wake the fuck up, like. Nothing to suggest we will.
  16. Aye, because that's how it's always worked in the past.
  17. What's our profit? £40m? £30m according to transfrmarkt. I'm sure we were nearly in profit by £10m before today, like.
  18. What's our profit? £40m?
  19. All of his strengths relate to attacking, to be fair.
  20. You're right. I apologise.
  21. Paully you spent years defending a CB who could do everything but defend, to be fair. At least Sissoko got plenty of assists.
  22. Yep. Obviously he's not gonna make it. Don't think he gives a fuck, either.
  23. Ours is Michael '26 goals in 4 seasons' Owen, to be fair.
  24. Someone put him out of his misery, please.
