Italians man, scumbags and cowards

He blew chance after chance even with a poor midfield. The penalty against Arsenal, the volley over from 6-yards versus Portsmouth, the two good chances against Fulham, the volley over yesterday, the header just wide (granted that was tricky). Take just one of those, and chances are we're still a Premiership club right now. They weren't overly difficult chances either. As for the "he can create something out of nothing" crap, what's the point of that if he can't finish a bowl of soup? 17 goals in 06-07 suggests you're wrong. But what's the point in debating it, he's gone
-
Xisco and Carroll should both get a chance, but hope we buy someone with a proven goal record
-
Why exactly does he have to apologise ,he is finished at premier league level but he tries his hardest so why get on his back ffs . how do you know he tries his hardest? He's been beyond woeful all season
-
Why should we expect anything different from them If we'd had a strong character like Joey Barton in the team all season we would have easily stayed up. Not just because he's our best midfielder, but because certain twats in the team wouldn't have been so happy staying in their comfort zone on the pitch
-
to be fair to the lad he's injured. I hope we excerise the loan option but chances are he's gone. Shame, despite his sketchy finishing and underdeveloped football brain he could have been a nufc legend had we bough one single midfielder capable of hitting a pass. We all knew it was the priority in the summer AND in Jan yet nowt was done about it, which is why we're down.

The atmosphere in the beer garden of the Cap n gown pub was fantastic, "if we go down, Ashley's dead" the pick of them
-
Becchio is the one to buy from Leeds, not Beckford. this, been saying it for a while. Although ideally both of them
-
fair play to him, my respect for him has increased tenfold in the last few weeks
-
Ryan Taylor? he's s****, yeah but is at least capable of doing a job in that position, Edgar cant even pass the ball man, spent the entire game looking like a little lost sheep I can guarentee you that R.Taylor would have done no better (probably worse) than Edgar today. Edgar's a good CB, but not a RB. based on what?
-
As fans we were absolutely magnificent at Villa Park today, i felt honoured just to be there. As it happens, sitting 4 seats away from Robert Lee, who agreed to say happy birthday to my mam on the phone. Shame about the current playing staff. Couldn't care less if that entire team bar one or two exceptions are sold tomorrow, twats

Balls of titanium. I hope he stays for the next decade. had you been at Villa park today you wouldn't be coming out with that yeah, i'm very, very pleased that he's our manager but still has a long way to go before we can safely say he's the right man for the job in the long term
-
just got back no fight, no ability, no bollocks whatsoever. And what the fuck is Shearer playing at playing Edgar at RB when we have a natural RB on the bench? Needs to learn his trade as a manager in the championship
-
just about to set off, have decided on my silver third strip so look out for me doing at Drogba if we go down hopefully my next post tonight will relfect sheer euphoria and drunkeness. All the best lads
-
giggle? By the way, Stoke don't belong on that list. Stoke is a decent sized club with a very strong fanbase, unlike the others. the club is basically a collection of arseholes, from top to bottom
-
have the four hour drive to Villa Park to look forward too anarl
-
cant sleep whatsoever, cant bastarding wait for 6pm

where have you been for the last 3 months?

And yet he's still our top scorer in all comps and joint top scorer in the league. and hasn't scored once in the time that Lovenkrands has somehow managed 3 (with a quarter of Owen's time on the pitch) And yet scored about 10 in half a season. But he's lost all his ability he had....ummm....4 or 5 months ago. you're saying it as if he was doing something extraordinary, he's a striker in the 'out and out goalscorer' mould and a penalty taker 30 goals in 4 seasons man, you sometimes have to look at the situation and say, perhaps the patches in which he was scoring are the exception

you could buy them from Dixon's sports as far back as 94 tbh
-
the thing is, Owen has absolutely nothing that Viduka doesn't
-
if we need a goal, Owen is the last place we should be looking
