Worse than when we lost 1-5 to Birmingham and 1-2 to Sheffield United last season? sheff u was 0-1, and yes to both questions
-
sacking him right now would be silly to say the least but in fairness, the worst three games i've experienced at St James's park in the last 14 years have all taken place this season, something is seriously wrong
-
Not to mention they've only scored 5 goals if you take away our games against them. before today they'd managed 1 goal away from home, it's a f****** joke At Old Trafford. what's your point? how many have you had today ffs?
-
only if they throw in Santa Cruz
-
Well Terry Mac is always scribbling notes for the subs before they go on. I didn't realise he could even write so maybe they aren't getting the credit they deserve? Terry Mac is probably doing a Sudoku on that notepad. crossing off his acculumator, cunt
-
Taylor alongside Faye is probably our best CB pairing. Not going to argue that Roz looks nervous out there and should have done better, but he's not clueless. I dunno if it's just communication break down or what, but that 2nd goal should have been marked better. you think both Steven Taylor and Faye are better players than Cacapa, madness
-
Milner was abysmal again today, he is in teh side due to the fact we have f*** all else. Sad times. abysmal is harsh, poor is the word i'd use. It's a word I use too often for Milner these days
-
sad thing is, Taylor and Roz are as bad as each other, both clueless when it comes to defending
-
Hire a coach to teach him "how to play like Bellamy" Or else really, get some cash back. No wonder Inter sold him. His partnership with Adriano must be a nightmare (for Inter). This must be some kind of wind up. Oba's goal record is twice that of the gimp. 17 goals last season, when did Bell end last score 17 in a season? 2005-2006 having missed half the season through injury, don't talk shit mate

and just what the fuck has the fact 'we had more shots on goal' got to do with anything Derby led twice, they weren't trying to increase their lead, use your head mate
-
This. Bullshit the midfield were the last to just about every ball, we were awful in the middle of the park Aweful yet we had far more shots on goal. Your ridiculas. the performance was fucking awful from the midfield, we didn't look anything close to superior until Duff came on
-
Yeps. I think the team is a bit messy at the moment but it'll calm down eventually, then we'll see more from our players imo. Smith is definately a support striker though, never a midfielder, as he showed against arsenal - which he was our best player that day. even then he looked more likely to grow a beard than score
-
That's also a good comparison in that Smith doesn't seem to have natural position in any tactical strategy Newcastle employs. He's never prepared to finish when the time comes, his decision making is usually poor, and I think his ability to concentrate is often overcome by his tendency to jaw at the referee. That said his industriousness always shows, he seems to be comfortable as a "leader" in the dressing room, and he has a desire to win that I'm not sure I see in other players very much. All in all, I think he would be more successful as a substitute when his energy is concentrated on a shorter period of time. I think the role would also help his focus. As a starter he is crap, and the sooner Sam realizes this, the better. he wont though, he paid £6m for Smith and came out saying shit like it was great business, he can't hide behind the age/adaptation period bollocks like he can with Enrique

You really think he was "fantastic"? His crossing was as bad as it was when he was fully fit for us (scuffed with no accuracy), as was the dithering when he was in a good position. But theres no doubting that hes a player with natural ability and the consistency in that ability to complement it, far more so than NZogbia and Milner. Just have to hope that he gets his confidence back, and starts driving at defenders, attacking space, and starts shooting/crossing more like the Duff of old, since we really need someone like that at the moment. one bad cross to be fair
-
has pissed me off so much the people on this forum ready to write him off, he'll show what a great player he is
-
i've had it with Smith, his attitude is great but he's been absolute bollocks for us, sad to say but half the player that cunt Dyer is
-
Derby were shite, we were worse, deserved to get beat
-
the cunts coming out of the ground as just as bad, Martins is shit this, no.9 that Smith looks as dangerous as an empty bathtub, but people overlook it, cunts
-
N'zogbia's crossing was awful, Milner had a chance to shine as a winger but instead once again demonstrated that despite the effort, he's no more than a good player Duff has to be on the left-wing, couldn't care less what that means for the other two
-
just got back from that shower of shite Barton Butt Smith Milner if Allardcye ever plays that midfield again he should be sacked on the spot, the guy is fucking clueless when it comes to attacking
-
no way Inter - Milan will be one sided, close game tbh
-
of course he isn't, sad but true
