He’s clearly not a top top player or he wouldn’t be sat next to Matt Ritchie with everyone fit. He’s a very fine flat track bully goalscorer off the bench but his day has been and gone as a regular starter for us.

It’s cost us at least 4 or 5 points I’d say. Which in the grand scheme of things does make a big difference.

I don’t know what people expect. He’s a solid keeper. Don’t expect him to make the level of saves Pope makes or come far enough off his line to take the pressure off the defence like Pope. It’s not in him.
