We did not approach that second half fantastically, in fact we got it completely wrong. It’s OK to be behind 100% behind Eddie and also admit his in-game management can be naive.
-
Atrocious and indefensible stat.
-
He should be living his best life with Trippier to link up with but he’s just all effort and extreme predictability / limitation this season.
-
Very sad, lots of effort and being back in the CL has been great but that was a carbon copy of the Liverpool game. Took the foot of the gas trying to sit deep and play counter attack and we’re just really poor at it. Tactically bossed. Something else in the final third badly needed in January.
-
Totally reliant on him for every piece of creativity. There’s nothing from anywhere else.
-
Give it a rest.
-
Beat me to it.
-
Winning the Europa is probably our best bet at qualifying for the CL.
-
Mourinho is toxic. Not the personality we need here to sustainably develop as a club. Tactically brilliant and ruthless with players, which is 2 things I’d like a bit more of, but no thanks.

Miley looks more talented than Tonali? I like what I’ve seen from Miley a lot but that’s a typically outrageous take.

You can’t honestly expect anything different? He’s a disciple of Bruce.
-
Steve Bull doesn’t belong in any comparison with anyone playing for Real Madrid mind.
-
Imagine if it was today. Look like the annual priest’s over 75 in Father Ted.
-
Gillespie. Gillespie wouldn’t get a job in League One. He knows that himself to be fair.
-
He’s probably right to be honest. Pope’s distribution issues have cost us goals maybe twice. If you had Andy O’Brien and Steven Taylor in front of him it would be a problem, but we don’t.
-
It’ll be Krath RB next Sat.
-
Why are people offering these daft opinions about his best position based on games in which he cannot run / exert himself? Absurdity.
-
Not a Dubravka hater (thought he’s clearly way out his depth in this version of NUFC) but what makes him a decent servant? He stayed for years because no on else wanted him then ran off to sit on Man U’s bench.
-
I love him but a replacement needs to be high priority. We knew that way before today.
-
Feel a bit for him. He hasn’t done a massive amount wrong but I can’t shake the feeling this next few weeks could represent a bit of a turning point. I sincerely hope not.
-
4 more months of this.
-
Zero excuses for *how* bad that was, to be honest.
-
I’d genuinely have confidence is us to win this with Pope in goal.
