I do cringe when people make out like it’s some big call for which one of them starts, because it really isn’t. I do also think Isak needs more support from midfield and RW in order to get the best out of him - fuck, imagine that - and preserve his fitness.

As happy as I was for us to win, that Man U game was an anomaly. Our B team against a side who, almost to a man, didn’t give a fuck. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a side throw a game at home to that extent against us.

I sincerely worry about holding on to certain players if we drop 4 places. Bruno, Isak, Tonali, Botman etc playing Europa Conference football isn’t right.

For what it’s worth I think we need two new players in the starting Xl who are gifted creative footballers first and tenacious runners second. That’s the next step.
