Find me 2 minutes of goalkeeping that bad.
-
Plenty will get in, man.
-
Please let this be the end. I can't think of a much better sight than him trotting around in someone else's shirt next season.
-
Fair play to him for his ambition. Doesn't mean I have to like that he tried to leave my club at the end of August to achieve it.
-
Based on nowt, really.
-
£60 on City -1 and Liverpool -2.
-
I don't hope he misses the WC, like. But at the same time I don't actively want much success for someone who tried to force his way out at the end of August. For Arsenal of all clubs.
-
It's Carroll, it probably is from tonight tbh. Fucking hell Mole. Yeah I know it's Carroll He was implying Carroll has previous in this area.
-
That would just make the Ben Arfa chants louder, and that's the last thing Pardew wants.
-
You say that, but we could all come up with names like Sissoko, Debuchy, Cabaye, MYM etc. All 4 players had been mentioned on here long before they were signed.
-
OK, and it was excellent work. I wouldn't call uncovering that someone's available for far less than they're worth good scouting, though. Forensic accounting is more accurate.
-
What would you call it then? http://m.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/super-scout-graham-carr-lifts-lid-on-newcastle-united-s-transfer-process-1-4412399 Not sure, but signing Cabaye based on the fact he was available for £4m isn't the product of good scouting. Everyone could've told you that a highly rated 25-year-old France international available for that price was a must sign.
-
Doesn't the club employ a group of people who investigate and suggest players based on their contractual vulnerability? Either way I wouldn't call it scouting.
-
Like cabaye you mean? Everyone on here with a hint of footballing knowledge knew who Yohan Cabaye was when we signed him, man. As if you could attribute that signing to good scouting.
-
Wouldn't call Carr a great scout, like. Doesn't take a genius to offer average players better money.
-
Exactly what I was saying on here on Monday when everyone was celebrating Palace's comeback for no good reason whatsoever.

El Khalej. I remember the ref (D'Urso I think?) clearly just saying to him, "That was a disgusting challenge" looking disgusted, holding up the red and barely looking at him. You're making that up, like. There was a good solid 2 minute gap between the challenge and the red card. It was the linesman who convinced him to show a red. The moment he shows the red he clearly says "that was a disgusting challenge". I was at the game. Whatever he said he wasn't sure about the red until he spoke to his assistant on the left.
-
Oh, and fuck Cabaye. I don't care about him one bit. Sorry.

Not this stupid shit again.

Amazing that Allardyce was hounded out after a couple of indifferent months yet it's taken this long for Pardew to be called on his nonsense.
-
I think the last 4-5 jobs he's had he's been good, average/poor, good, average/poor, good, and so on so I can't make up my mind. I'd have him (and 99% of the managers alive I've heard of) in instead of Pardew. We can do a lot better, though.

4-4-2 really doesn't get much love these days. Shame. With the right personnel it's the best formation to watch.
