Surprised Hughton's still hanging on, tbh. The fans have wanted him out for the best part of 2013 and they're looking dreadful even with significant investment.
There's that as well. Really once Tiote played him onside he's caught between a rock and a hard place.
Mostly out of his own doing, btw, Tiote being a thick fucking idiot notwithstanding.
He'll learn and hopefully have some great years here but we can't rely on him yet. He's going to have be phased in as Colo's phased out.
Not to mention the condescending rubbish coming out of his mouth every week blaming the fans - who've stupidly stuck with him - for his own failings. Reassess your opinion ffs.
Thought more of you than that Jon. We've started by getting 11 points from 8, failing to control games as per, and if we beat the worst team in the league next week you'll reassess your opinion?
Oh god, I sense a pie chart of some sort to come out and disprove this post as not true
won one more
lost one more
scored 2 more
conceded 2 more
one more point
1 place better off.
It's testament to Pardew that we've managed such a massive improvement with only Remy, Sissoko, Gouffran, Debuchy etc and the lack of that goddamned Europa League assisting him.
Staring at a £70 loss before Spurs and St Etienne saved me. Finished up with £3 profit for the weekend. I'm gonna go spend it on some cheap wine from a Chinese man who speaks no English.
I physically saw Williamson push Colo closer to his man against Cardiff while berating him. Did the same thing with Santon. When Williamson's on the pitch he's the leader of the defence and Colo just puts his head down and does as he's told.
It's there for all to see, not my fault if you've missed it. I'd give it to Krul, but there are very few contenders for it. Cabaye is the natural choice but he wants off too. Much better captain than Colo, though.
