they are normally spot on with the lineups. Hope he steps up and does us and himself proud. 2 UK players starting if so. Hopefully the media will get off our backs today Who gives a fuck about that?
-
We're absolutely fucked if that's true.

Everton are a better outfit, to be fair. An inferior club to a degree but their team is better.

I've always just considered him an above-average manager, partly for the reason you've stated. Also had fantastic squads at his disposition pretty much throughout his managerial career. Probably one for the unpopular opinion thread... An above average manager who's won the champions league twice and did at Chelsea in his first season what Mourinho never could. Plus, very, very few of Ancelotti's players have ever had a bad word to say about him. The above is absolute nonsense, basically. He's still a negative manager and I've had that discussion with you (I think it was) who didn't agree. But I do agree with you, he's not a bad manager. He certainly wasn't negative in England with a waning Chelsea side. I can't see the goals record his team set being equalled for a long time.

(Assuming you've read it) It's one of the best football books I've read, mate. Takes the piss out of himself (usually his monstrous appetite for food) on every other page. Lots of great insights with regard to players and tactis, and vividly describes staring at his naked arse in a mirror. Highly recommended.

Looking at £400+ profit from a couple of accumulators if Southampton hold on and us and Spurs win tomorrow.
-
Bale and Ronaldo are different players. Totally different.
-
I think Real needed that type of player and have done for some time, but he, along with the other attackers don't really fit with Ancelotti's favoured narrow system. They'll sort it eventually, though.

Hernandez is a natural born scorer who is actually very decent with his back to goal.
-
What a fucking header by Rooney.
-
I'm not advocating anything here (wink wink) but how does HV continue to get away with it?
-
Chris Foy's a fucking joke, man.
-
From those fixtures, absolutely.

didn't there used to be ? I don't know. There was the option for player cam and crowd cam and commentary from two mealy-mouthed queering drunkards but I don't remember there ever being an option to just retain crowd noise.
-
I'm amazed there still isn't an option to retain stadium noise but mute commentary.
-
Ian Wum at it again I see. Dedication.
-
People were saying it didn't matter if it was Taylor or Dummett. Ridiculous, tbh.
-
Altidore's a good athlete, however shit he is as a finisher.
-
I don't remember anyone calling him a crock. But he's had too many muscle injuries in the past year for it to be ignored.
-
I do wish you'd just stop posting in this thread, man.
-
You keep saying that. In theory Altidore will eat Dummett for breakfast.
-
Steven Taylor was a striker, what's your point? Dummett is far too small to be a CB, anyway, even if he did have PL experience.

The reactions weren't fair enough, a lot were way over the top. We're a football club, not a prison. If a player is injured he has every right to go and spend time with his family, no matter where his family live. I would much rather have a player, any player, at home with his family when injured rather than being thousands of miles away because we need to keep our players happy. An injured player is useless to us so anything which gets them fit quicker should be done. How would being in Argentina get him fitter than here? He was treated there rather than make a 7000 miles journey on the plane, also giving him time to be with his family too. Come on Ron, time to accept there was nothing in it mate. I thought he'd been back here after the injury then flew back home? Anyway, I'm glad if he's back. Hope he starts acting like a captain at some point.
