Martins, 28 "21 or 28" was seven years ago. My God, life goes so quickly and football makes it worse. The age of 16 seems a lifetime ago, but Glenn Roeder and 2006/2007 Premiership seems like last week. The irony of course being that Baba is now 28.

Jonas' job has always held us back in an attacking sense, though. So when the defensive attributes are compromised, as they have been, we can basically write the job off completely. Gosling will come good. I hope it's at us.

He's a box-to-box player, it's not really that complicated. I don't think he's good enough to start but he's a better bet to get on the end of chances than any of our midfield lot, apart from perhaps Cabaye.

Still play him above Jonas and even Anita in certain games. Fills a gap that nobody else in the squad does and will only get better and better as he matures and gets consistent playing time.

Richard Dunne is woeful, worse than Williamson. Not that there's any truth in it like. Nonsense. Better in every way. He's not like, he's been on a swift decline for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Wife's dad is a Villa fan and said he has been absolutely woeful, and at fault for so many of their goals conceded (especially last season). Williamson has very poor distribution but he's decent in the air and a decent backup, although clearly shot of confidence. Or just a Championship player to start with whose main weaknesses are getting worse with age while being targeted by opposing managers who've figured out how shit he is.
