It took him what, 3 months to get 13 goals?
-
I don't see it. He's inhaling there so his chest may look a tad bigger but I can't really see much of difference. I don't think his physique's really the problem tbh. At 29 he's naturally lost a bit of athleticism and with the exception of the last 3 months of 10-11 I've never truly been convinced by him in an attacking sense.
-
Don't think he's in any different shape, tbh.
-
I was thinking that. He's dreadful in both types of game.
-
Unfortunately we live in a world where having long black hair and running around a lot makes you undroppable.
-
It was, to be fair.
-
Why? He looked shaky there today and was much better in the centre Well he's not going to play in the centre when everyone's available, and he looks a far better player than Simpson.
-
No. I wasn't as impressed with him as some last season but I never wrote him off. He's improving at an accelerated rate by the looks.
-
I'm not usually one to big up our youngsters without good reason, but I'm genuinely excited about Big, Sammy and Ferguson.
-
RB from now on.
-
Goes back to what I said last week: you can't compare this lot with Bobby's side. They defended from the front and attacked from the midfield. We do neither.
-
If Bigi's fit he'd be straight in there for me. In fact, I'd have him in there before all except Tiote and Cabaye.
-
He's suffering badly from the fact that we don't have anyone supporting from midfield and he's getting nothing played in front of him whatsoever. Oh, and no crosses, ever.
-
I'm not sure playing Cisse on the wing counts as playing a genuine 4-3-3. I think I preferred Gutierrez out there, at least he's a genuine wide player. He's genuinely s*** out there, especially when in the final third. Sammy, Obertan, Ba and even Ferguson are far better shouts for it.
-
With his age and style of play he's only going to get worse and worse from what we've seen recently.
-
I'm honestly not being a prick or anything, but explain that would you? Suarez gave Colo a tough time today Yeah, I agree with Disco. He was poor.

Hard facts AND a hint of sarcasm. OK, hard facts. We've got 14 points and are sitting in 10th place after 10 games, last season after 10 games we had 22 points and were 3rd in the league. We hadn't played the best 2 teams in the league at that point, either. We haven't over the last 2 games either. And we've got 4 points where last season we had 0. You can't have it both ways.
-
I'm optimistic because we went throught patches of poor football last season, too. We've got a good side and a good manager and we'll eventually click. We're 2 points off 6th having played well below our best.

Becoming a parody now. He lost his cool, Suarez was running him ragged. Nowt to do with Pardew man. Of course it has something to do with him. Colo lashed out due to sheer frustration because we were being ran ragged by one f***ing man, one f***ing man, all because of our cowardly tactics and game plan which is down to the coward of a manager we have. Didn't you shake his hand in the summer? Should've said that to his face. Ridiculous isn't it, given that 'coward of a manager' just got a point at a ground we traditionally get hammered at. A point against the worst Liverpool side for 20+ years that didn't look like getting back into it until we let them attack for 45 mins. That's cowardly and the same happened against WBA last week. Luck is the only reason we got anything out of them last week. Were you born when Souness was manager of Liverpool? We were pragmatic and got a point at Anfield, mate. Too much of this dreadful negativity.
-
He shouldn't be asked to do that job, to be honest.
-
He looks an accident waiting to happen. Why wasn't he going to be named on the bench, btw?
-
Story of him last 10 months tbh. Yeah, and the rest.
-
Impressed with him again. Only a matter of time before he pushes Jonas out of the side.
