Direct football doesn't always have to be s****. With the right players it can be extremely effective and entertaining, especially in England. Yeah but we're not playing good direct football. We're playing f***ing w*** football that doesn't suit the players, and marginalising our most talented players by doing so. Ok, let's look at the players. I'm sure a fair few would consider this our most likely starting Xl: Krul - Woeful with the ball at his feet. Simpson - Enough said. Colo - Superb on the ball, great at bringing the ball out of defence. Williamson - Poor on the ball. Ryan Taylor - Hopeless at carrying the ball; strikes it really well. Obertan - Absolutely f***ing crap. Cabaye - Superb on the ball; frequently has difficulty imposing himself. Will improve in time. Tiote - Very average on the ball; frequently gives it away in dangerous areas. Jonas - Superb close control; passing and being required to impart any pace on the ball exposes his massive lack of talent. Ba - Our best striker and arguably our most important player alongside Colo. Thrives primarily on crosses - high and low. HBA - Provides a strong argument to keep the ball down. Huge question mark over his ability to deliver consistently. It doesn't provide a great argument to play a short passing game.

Ben Arfa has more footballing ability in his (probably smaller than average) penis than Jonas has in total. Thankfully I stopped taking your post seriously after the mention of him.

"MON continues to add to his stock as one of the world's best managers."

What the hell are you on, Stifler?
-
He must be joking.
-
Its not perceived its true at the moment, the Liverpool game he didn't try especially when we didn't have the ball, fans will forgive a lot but will never ever forgive a lack of effort, and that would be every club from the very top to a Sunday park. It very blatantly is perceived.
-
Especially not when it's compounded by a perceived lack of effort.
-
The only incredible thing about Simpson is the fact there have been 2 worse regular starters this season. Absolutely incredible.
-
I get the distinct impression that Obertan was Pardew's choice and his choice alone. Anything out there that conflicts with that?
-
He looks to me like the type that could play as a false winger. Essentially providing cover to his full-back and making himself an option in space higher up the park with clever runs - something he's good at.
-
There bloody well is, whether Pardew considers him one or not.
-
Even an injured Obertan is a better option than Hatem for the RW.
-
It's quite clearly nothing to do with what he's saying or doing. More to do with the fact that the alternatives all present a laundry list of problems.

Kenny Daglish: “hasn’t he done this before?”

Don't compare Smith with Bowyer, man.
-
Athletically and technically probably the worst player I've seen start more than 10 games for us. Wish him nothing but the absolute worst.

Very impressed with Swansea today and this season in general. Same goes for Norwich. Two teams that play football and do it with such enthusiasm. Brillaint managers Rodgers and Lambert by the look of it. The same was said about Roberto Di Matteo this time last year, Owen Coyle 2 years ago, and Phil Brown 3 years ago. Don't forget 'Olly'. Olly did an OK job with a dreadful squad.

The implications are exactly the same for Ryan Taylor, though. Honestly, what a pointless post, Madras.

And that superb pundit on MOTD mistook him for Steven Taylor.
