Our failure in summer just keeps coming back to haunt us. We spend so much money on nothing with Elanga and Ramsey. Just wished we would have strengthen our midfield.

Do the club have some kind lf insurance for these? My point is not to spread misery but it would be interesting to know. If we buy for £55 million 29-year-old player who suffer major knee injury that could even end his career or cause massive damage to his abilities and playing. Is it just bad luck for club?

Thank you for this! I’ve noticed the same thing with other Adidas jerseys too. M is tight, L is too big. The difference in width and length between sizes might be 5 cm, which is too much and makes it really hard to find size that actually fits (unless you are exactly the right size). Also Adidas have that the back is 5-6 cm longer than front and it’s ridiciliously long. It really makes you think that they don’t bother at all with these fan versions.

Despite the high transfer fee (which really was too high, but market went crazy) he is still young and raw talent with clear on/off performances. If we let him grow under guidance of Eddie, we will get good player out of him. But if fans or press turn on him too soon, there is great chance of flop, considering young age and short career and the pressure affecting mentally. British press is cruel and so are some fans. He is easy target so I hope he gets the respect and patience he deserves. German strikers do seem to peak later than many other. But they tend to keep the level then.

I still feel sick about this transfer and that we let him go. It just opens the door for other players to do the exactly same and use this as example. When you let this happens, it will come back hauntintg in the future. Of course not all players are cunts like Is*k but this did not harm his career at all.
