  3. nah.. he just needs a run upfront or something
  4. Because we've beaten them all Barca and Inter topping my list then i was about to dive in two footed and say we never beat inter. (NE5 would have had a field day) It was 2-2 that day iirc and they trashed us 1-4 at home!! We beat them in the 60`S or something I think. Or you could just swap Inter with Juve we beat them in the 60's. thats what i meant by NE5 would've done me. I was there. 60,000 in St.James' and the Leazes End a cauldron of ear splitting noise. To this day I have never seen anyone subjected to such physical violence on a pitch as Wyn Davies received from the Inter and Italy full back Fachetti that night. Typical Wyn he just got on with the job with lots of courage and little fuss. A true legend. oh man, that sounds great.. I wish I could relive that.. or at least watch a coverage of the game or something
  5. players seem happy enough.. that's good what about Xisco.. is he left footed?

    Players in public

Zog's face is unable to express anything else
  7. even if they haven't had a single training session, the Uruguayan guy and Xisco the dragon may feature as there's nobody else.. Given - Beye, Taylor, Colo, Bassong - Guthrie, Butt, don Ignacio, N'Zogbia - Smith (Xisco), Owen
  8. My ex-wife's brother was one of the big guys in the Roma BOYS fraction, so I was going to all home games for a couple of seasons with the Roman mentalists.. propa green street style.. still, I'm a Newcastle fan first and foremost
  9. Can anybody enlighten me on the Carl Cort Tesco incident.. what's that all about?
  10. regardless of what some might think of him as a manager, but imo he was the most dignified of the lot mentioned on that list bullshit
  11. Okay, we f***ing get it. Give it a rest ffs.
  12. I don't give a fuck about the system, because it all comes down to the football we play.. and whatever positives there were in our games, they were all down to Keegan as we'll soon find out.. personally I'm disillusioned and I have resigned to another two or three seasons of mediocrity.. bring on the next managerial sequence
  13. Terim is a bit of a ego wanker.. like Souness and Allardyce.. can't see it working
  14. I wouldn't blame any of the players if they want out now.. someone like N'Zogbia is going to have a 6th manager in his time here soon.. Martins, Owen, Given and all are probably getting sick of this too.. those that can attract clubs in better positions will be mad not to jump ship in the next transfer window, unless we make some sort of miracle managerial appointment. and Poyet.. wtf? the day Gustavo Poyet comes through the doors of SJP as a manager, I'm selling my car and coming over there to put him out
  15. fuck all man.. sick of it ashley, wise, lambas, keegan.. you're paid to not make us feel depressed you wankers.. fuck you all
  16. so now we have confirmation that he hasn't resigned and he has not been sacked.. both sides seem eager to compromise, here's hoping..
  17. That was a long day.. I literally feel like shit now, I'll just post my take on things before I pass out. What I could make of the decrypted official statement and the lack of other information was that Keegan has walked out but the management are apparently persuading him to stay.. at least I hope that's the case, although it's unreasonable to believe that Keegan will back down as the differences with the other side must've been quite big to make him walk out in the first place.. I don't know what to think tbh, but I'm sure that Keegan realises that if he goes, we're left in the deep once again and the fans don't deserve another sequence of inadequate managers and several more years of underachievement. Ashley/Wise/Llambias or whoever have obviously let Keegan down and lied to him, but for the sake of the club, both sides need to compromise - it's their responsibility to not make us the laughing stock of the league again. I just hope tomorrow brings better news and today's events go down in history as a huge media over-reaction..
