That was a long day.. I literally feel like shit now, I'll just post my take on things before I pass out. What I could make of the decrypted official statement and the lack of other information was that Keegan has walked out but the management are apparently persuading him to stay.. at least I hope that's the case, although it's unreasonable to believe that Keegan will back down as the differences with the other side must've been quite big to make him walk out in the first place.. I don't know what to think tbh, but I'm sure that Keegan realises that if he goes, we're left in the deep once again and the fans don't deserve another sequence of inadequate managers and several more years of underachievement. Ashley/Wise/Llambias or whoever have obviously let Keegan down and lied to him, but for the sake of the club, both sides need to compromise - it's their responsibility to not make us the laughing stock of the league again. I just hope tomorrow brings better news and today's events go down in history as a huge media over-reaction..

oH YEAAAHHHH.. PLEASE KEVIN, PLEASE STAY!!

don't be silly, that's obviously wrong.. Llambias ffs

A sad day for all Newcastle fans.. I don't know what Ashley, Kevin and whoever else is involved are thinking, but that's taking the piss of the fans.. we don't deserve this and this situation could've been avoided if the responsible people gave a fuck about the millions who'll be left disillusioned after today.. I've lost all my faith in the club's management.. they can do whatever they want and I hope they fail at it, because I'll never associate myself with liars and cheap crooks.. I'll support Newcastle United till the end, but the people who represent it right now can fuck off and die as far as I'm concerned, because they don't deserve 1/10 of the support they've received.

fuckthat, if Keegan goes that's my last post here

ashamed? that's a bit over the top, isn't it.. personally, I trust in Keegan and I plan to enjoy this season regardless of what you all think.. cut the negative crap, football is not all about transfers and big money signings, so take it easy and enjoy the ride.
-
to put it straight, yes, I'm happy with both.. or as NE5 would say - I accept mediocrity.
-
we could've done better, I guess.. still, I'm happy enough really hope the Uruguayan is good, because otherwise our midfield is still among the poorer ones in the division.. I reckon we'll do alright without backup RB/LB.. Taylor, Colo, Bassong and N'Zogbia are good enough cover.. My only regret is that we didn't get rid of Smith, Ameobi and Duff but their time will come..
-
he's past it.. that was a great game by the way
-
shut up, afar, you're boring
-
oh god.. I feel the day has finally come.. fingers crossed everybody

I have to write this interface specification thingy for a project.. 50 pages, complete with tables and various diagrams.. for today two hours and I'm still stuck on page 3 and the madness hasn't even started yet..

I don't think I've ever heard a single racist remark at a game in England.. I think that the authorities have taken the required steps to kick it out of football there.. which is good in Italy, most teams have big nazi fractions, although I understand that's been countered over the last couple of seasons and plenty of people have bans now .. in my country racism is stuck so deep in people's minds that if you had to ban people for it, football will be played in front of empty stands.. of course, most supporters aren't skinheads, but when the monkey noises and racist chants start, most people seem to join in without any hesitation.. pathetic
-
haha.. delighted with that
-
ah, fuck that.. he's a self-obsessed twat and a completely hopeless football manager.. no respect for him whatsoever
-
Not too sure if Coloccini will prove to be a ''bargain'' for £10 million. so you'd rather have Anton Ferdinand?
-
apparently, Geremi has done his knee and is out till next year.. anybody heard that?
-
well done, Kevin.. a brilliant deal even if we don't buy a direct replacement
-
sell the fucker and be done with it already. would any of you honestly feel sorry when you see him in a Villa shirt, stepovering the hell out of the ball and constantly crossing without looking? cut the drama.
-
yep, big willie once again

Well, if you're going to start chasing people for replies, how about the hundreds of posters who all used to urge the old board to "splash the cash" and now slate them for spending "money they didn't have" and also are now saying its alright "not to splash the cash". Nobody disputes that Smith has been a huge disappointment by the way. Shame, because he was pretty good at Leeds, the criteria you normally use when assessing footballers, wouldn't you agree ? On the other hand, I've asked you this before Dave, living in Leeds, but you don't seem to know, so did you live in Leeds at that time or not ? I'll also add that Leeds supporters, at the time, were quite happy with him, and said that he was one of the best players. And, that is first hand information I have from Leeds supporters Can't you ever just answer a simple question in a simple manner without going off-track? I'm asking about Alan Smith, here. Not the old board, not Leeds, not me, not me living in Leeds. Alan Smith, for Newcastle United since he signed. Unbelievable. And you'll do exactly the same in response to this. You don't get it do you Dave ? I have answered, I thought - like Alex Ferguson - that he was a good player at Leeds and hoped he would succeed here at my club . Whats so difficult about that ? It isn't as if I asked you something REALLY straightforward, like did you think he was a good player at Leeds when you lived in leeds ? So you were wrong? he's never wrong
