Love that article. Very quickly falling in love with Eddie tbh. A young, progressive, detail-oriented coach with an attacking philosophy is the absolute dream - I really hope he can go the distance with us.

He's been decent so far imo, just needs a goal to get the confidence going. Glad to see him (and the whole team) looking so happy after the game in that video on the club twitter. Would be easy for him to feel left out if he's not obviously contributing as much right away, but the whole group look really together.

This lad is all in on us like, even on loan. If he keeps that level up we need to make this permanent.

He's getting in the right positions and holding the ball up well, but his confidence looks shot. If he gets a goal he'll look a better player from then on imo. Really want him to make this work.

Alli is a little prick mind, that tackle on Jo. Wanted Jo to fucking deck him (I mean not really because we need him, but the cunt had it coming). Glad we never signed him, the shaking his head and attitude was polar opposite to our lot. He's not got the character for it.

Get the fuck in. Never thought I'd have said this at the start of the season - but I'm so proud of this team. The fucking fight they've got in them. Credit has to go to Howe for getting this level of effort out of them. Every person out there worked their balls off. Wood our worst player but honestly feels like he needs one to go his way and he'll start scoring, he's getting in the right positions. Trippier is a LEADER. Fucking brilliant. I love this team. Targett been good so far, and Trippier classy af down the right, some of his passes have been lush.

Also really, really want Wood to make a contribution has he seems a nice lad and I like the novelty of having a Kiwi playing for us. That header was fucking diabolical though.

Shelvey looked okay to begin win, all blood and thunder. Unfortunately he's a bit of a moron sometimes and is now completely neutered with a yellow. Everton have lost 2 of their better players to injury. Have to bring Bruno on now surely.

Oof. Not sure how I feel about that decision. Would've started him myself so can understand people's frustration, but trust that Howe knows what he's doing with more information than the rest of us. Hopefully in a couple of hours time it won't matter because we'll have walked away with the win.
