I'm very pleased with how we're playing overall. I just don't think Trippier and Foden are a good fit together in the long term of the tournament, it slows everything down too much

Yeah I know, need him back. If we're going to stick with Foden on the wing we need someone who will overlap when he drifts inside. No-one is asking their fullback a question that side. Need Gordon on to start running at them

We'll see such a difference from the friendlies. Understand why people are pessimistic but the intensity will be night and day

It's a great position to be in like. You can absolutely argue that Gordon and Palmer should be starting, but you'd have to bench Saka and Foden which feels equally mad

Quite an exciting team really. Would've started Gordon myself but him off the bench against tired legs will be a weapon.
