The knee jerk reaction to players having one poor moment and needing to be dropped is getting tiresome. He has been excellent since his return to the team.

He did have really solid games against Barcelona, Liverpool and Union St. Gilloise. Notable in games where we either counter attacked from deep positions or a weaker opponent. I think we need to trust EH that he will develop him to become successful in our system. Look at Gordon, Hall and Osula. All of them took time to adapt to the methods.

I honestly can’t separate Bruno and Sandro. Sandro’s everywhere , he reads the game brilliantly, always in the right spot, and keeps things ticking with quick, uncomplicated passes. He makes the whole team function better. But Bruno… he’s the spirit of the side. He gives everything, has that flair and X-factor. Sandro brings control and intelligence, Bruno brings passion and inspiration.

We desperately need a left back in January. We went into the season a fullback too short and we are paying for it now.

Ramsey been sloppy with the ball. He looked sharper in his appearances before the ankle injury.

We all thought Trippier fell of a cliff and was finished a couple of years ago. Players go through form dips. It’s obvious he isn’t at peak fitness. It’s too early to write him off yet. But yeh one game a week might be good for him for a month or so.
