Thoughts on the actual goal? The right back had far too much time to deliver his cross. Hall and Burn were covering the more advanced player, think it was Walker-Peters. No one was manning up Bree who crossed it. Gordon should have been on Bree. But he was jogging back from the halfway line.

I think Howe valued what Ritchie and Dummett brought to the culture of the side at setting standards. A healthy dress room is critical to good performance.

I think the illness affected him, he did seem more lethargic than normal. Can’t doubt his ability to make a pass and to win a free kick. He’s class and would walk into the starting 11 of just about every team in the league .

We could do with him staying fit for the rest of the season as unlikely as that is. Give him the last 30 minutes of matches. Hopefully Barnes is only a couple of weeks away too.

The good thing with Kelly is any sale is 100% PSR profit. So selling him for 20 mill or so. Would be far better value than selling a Harvey Barnes or a player like that.

The rules are a disgrace and time will tell if they are removed. It was depressing AF supporting the club from 2007-2021. We had snippets of hope with the 5th placed finish and having players like Ba, Cabaye and Ben Arfa and then Benitez. But it always ended up in tears. We actually have a club that has ambition again, one of the best managers in our history and we go into every game knowing we are going to compete. We will be in and around the top 7/8 and dont have to dread the relegation battles and having our best players sold and not replaced. If any of our best players are sold, the club have continuously stated they will always spend the maximum that they can within the rules.

Surly if any club can afford him its PSG. Whether it fits into the new 70% of revenue PSR rules, who knows. I obviously don't want him to leave, but I'm not naïve to think there aren't clubs with the ability to spend huge sums of money that could meet a 150 million transfer fee. Such as PSG.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was happy to go there, from a club that is probably bigger than us. If they can offer Isak UCL and double his salary, I'm sure he would be considering it.

I think PSG are going to come in with a big bid in the summer. They don’t have a world class centre forward and have money to burn.
