  1. Could leave? He's already signed for man utd Alot of people seem to think hell go back there on loan, should they get promoted today.
  2. Ive only ever been to two Newcastle games, living in Australia. First one i was 9, was the 8-0 you speak of, second game was the 5-1 spanking of the mackems. Im one lucky cunt!
  3. Whats your all time favorite football match? Mine is probably either the 5-1 win against the mackems, or Australias penalty shoot-out win over Uruguay to qualify for the 2006 world cup.
  4. That's what I mean, Atlético fans are proud about their striker lineage, Negredo won't be enough. It will be Torres and the circle will begin again. I reckon Forlan would be a hit, might've lost his legs a little not as much as Dario Silva

  6. I really think Dortmund will come back stronger. According to Bild they have agreed fees for Bernard and De Bruyne for around 22m euros and still negotiating for Eriksen so if all 3 come to pass. That is basically De Bruyne, Bernard and Eriksen for Gotze. If they sold Lewandowski this summer he would go for around 30m i would think, considering how Dortmund do business they could easily buy a top quality replacement with money left over for depth in certain areas like DM and LB. Don't think they'lll be better next year already, but they're certainly doing the right kind of deals at the moment. Bringing in De Bruyne, Eriksen and Bernard would have them done at their three AMs/wingers position. Reus, Bernard, De Bruyne, Eriksson, Kuba and Grosskreutz. Is there a more interesting combination of players than those? All are speedy, technically excellent and all of them can score goals and create. You take Lewandowski out and get two good young strikers and you might be better off as you won't have to rely on Lewandowski since Schieber isn't exactly the best striker. World class strikers are hard to come by though .. Saying that, Bayern won the UCL with Mandzukic up front. He is a good player, but not world class.

Would love to see Benteke go to Dortmund.
  8. Casillas Arbeloa. Ramos. Pique. Jordi. Alba Busquets Xavi. Iniesta Mata. Villa. Silva ?
  9. I'm going for Palace, mainly because they are captained by Mile Jedinak. Who has done it the hardway to get to near the top of the football tree. From playing Local league football at the age of 21 in Sydney, to being on the cusp of captaining an EPL side, is quite remarkable.
  10. Only 3 centre backs? And Javi Garcia? No Michu?

  12. Are they taking the sign off the front of the Gallowgate ?

The most frustrating thing is that its the most talented squad weve had in many years, another season of shit football and struggles under Pardew will more than likely break the squad up/
  14. Isnt Llorente off to Juventus as well? Tasty strike force.
  15. Marin would be the only one really.
  16. Id imagine Wonga will begin to appear around the ground next season, with sports direct.
  17. I hope that's not just PR on Pardew's part, and that this has been a season of acclimatising for Anita. At the moment, I feel we have four players - Tiote, Anita, Bigi and Perch - who should all be competing for one place, so at least one is surplus to requirements. Anita has to show that he's got something additional to offer, because defensively he's struggled and he hasn't shown enough in attack. He hasnt been given the chance to adapt to any position, with a full strength team out there. I firmly believe that with the likes of HBA, Sissoko, Cabaye, Marveaux, Gouffran around him, he would be immense in that deep role for us. His passing is quality.

Probably need new fullbacks and new centre mids. The rest of the side can stay pretty similar.

Who's the new Stoke manager like? Having no manager is better than having Pardick.

The crazy thing about our attendances is we've achieved those levels having not won a thing for almost 44 years now, domestically 58 and a league title 86 years ago. We've had two short periods of relative success, with top 5 finishes yet we still pull in those crowds. If the success matched the supporters commitment we would need a much bigger stadium. Bar the John Hall era, the club has been terribly managed really not to tap in on the enormous potential we have. It's consistently aimed small time, and consistently achieved that. We need a Jurgen Klopp and for him to be given full reign, like Klopp has at Dortmund.

So depressing. Every team has a better manager than us now. Even friggen Hull.
