How do you see Englands best 11 looking, going into the World Cup in a years time. Id probably go: Hart Johnson Cahill Jagielka Cole Carrick Cleverley Walcott Wilshere Ox Rooney
-
If you are off work tomorrow or unemployed, Japan v Australia is on 11:30 am, Newcastle time. Dads army will be rolling out to play for Australia, against a slick technical Japanese side. Expecting an absolute hammering, only hope is Tim Cahill and Josh Kennedy can aerially dominate. Expected team. Schwarzer (40) Wilkshire (31) Neill (35) Ognenovski (34) McKay (30) Milligan (27) Bresciano (33) Kruse (24) Cahill (33) Holman (28) Kennedy (31) Bunch of old farts. The youth is there ready to step up, like Tommy Oar, James Holland, Rhys Williams, Shane Lowry, Chris Herd, Tom Rogic. But the idiot in charge of us, thinks experience is necessary.
-
haha i remember in 2006 when Ronaldo was claiming to be ITK, that fat Ronaldo was signing for the toon on deadline day. Oh how things change.
-
If we signed Belhanda, Carroll and Ince. That would do me.
-
Lasogga is a good striker. Scored a lot of goals for such a young player.
-
He's a very good player is Danny Rose.
-
Group B looks very interesting. Posted on another forum, but these are the players with senior caps Anyway, starts this Wednesday and all games on Sky. Atmosphere will be sh*t as its in Israel Think the dutch will win it. Its practically a senior squad theyve got playing. They played our u/20's last week and wiped us 3-0.
-
same size as us Id say.
-
All round very good centre midfielder, very good passer, good movement, young, started to score goals towards the end of the season.
-
He's playing for a financially struggling, championship side. Think 8 to 10 mill could get him personally.
-
Does the Westfalenstadion have a Hilton next to it marra? Didn't think so ...
-
I'd prefer McCarthy, he looks the goods, plus has the premiership experience.
-
That's not the normal 'pint' (in German: Halbe), though. That's a double, it's called " A Maß " and you normally only get it in Bavaria, mostly - of course - at the Oktoberfest. Edit: I assumed you were talking about the size btw. I did 7 of those bad boys at Oktoberfest 2 years ago. Can't remember a thing.
-
dont think we could attract a good enough replacement to sell.
-
Stoke signging a player from a cultured league. Unbelievable!
-
Same as last year. We have a team full of internationals, if we came to Perth we would sell out our 22000 footy stadium. Likewise most other placess. China, Japan etc.
-
Krul Debuchy. Mbiwa. Coloccini. Santon Sissoko. Cabaye HBA. Marveaux. Ince Cisse With Gouffran and Anita to rotate in, plus new striker.
-
Ince a left footer?
-
If we sell Cisse in order to bring back Carroll I will be absolutely murdering people on this forum if Carroll flops. College Dropuout and Cronky will be high up on the list closely followed by TT and Unbelievable. Think murder gets a 4 week ban, mind. Not worth it , who can live 4 weeks without N-O
-
Is Santon going to become the fullback we all hoped he would? The potential is immense with that guy, it just hasn't clicked yet for him. Though he had a very good first half of the season.
-
Good point.
-
Debuchy can trap, cross and pass a ball. A blind man could see who the better right back is.
-
I by no means think he's shit. I love attacking fullbacks, so I hope he's class. I'm just slightly worried about his lack of pace. Though once he's settled into a more stable side, with more experience of playing in this league, his positioning will make his lack of pace less noticeable.
-
Mapou is class. Not sure Debuchy will settle into the premier league, I see his qualities in an attacking sense, though he seems too slow and vulnerable one on one with his winger.
-
True, so not going to happen. Why? Thought it was by season not calendar year. Yep, this is the case as far as I'm aware. You can't play for more than two clubs in a season. Debuchy and Yanga-Mbiwa could both, in theory, move this summer. 15 mill for Debuchy and 25 Mill for Mbiwa and then we got a deal.
