not necessarily. Takes time for a team to gel. Man City are only going to get stronger. Can see Arsenal improving with the dysmal start from last season. Almost certain that the top 4 will be Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal. Spurs will be a little behind in 5th. Then us and Everton will battle it out for 6th and 7th. The laughing stock of Liverpool will remain mid-table mediocrity.

The Best lineup the England Squad can produce is: Hart Johnson Cahill Terry Cole Parker Lampard Walcott Young Ox Carroll

For Hatem to win the Ballon D'Or hes going to have to single handedly win us the premier league and get us deep into the Champions league. Hell need to score around 30 premier league goals and assist around 20 to get anywhere near Messi and Ronaldo.

WTF are we waiting for.... Crystal Palace fire sale promotion campaign? Hes out of contract... However because hes below the age of 21, Crystal Palace will receive a compensation fee judged by a tribunal.

HAH Unlucky. Heard it is a decent show though. I wasnt born in Newcastle, was born here in Perth. But the whole family lives back in the toon still. The thing that annoys me about Australia, is how every premier league fan is a glory hunter. Ive never seen so many Man City shirts at university in my life, the day after they won the league. Also, all the Chelsea fans bragging about how theyve signed Hazard. It just infuriates the shit outta me. haha
-
wow i think ive been a bit luckier. First toon game i ever went to was bobby robsons first home game against sheffield wednesday. When we won 8-0 and Shearer scored 5. Then after a long drought i returned on Halloween in 2010, to witness the 5-1 thumping of the mackems. Havent been to a game since, but im thinking if we get far into the Europa league, with a game in Germany or Spain. I might head over to see the match. I get industry travel rates, so can get to europe relatively cheap.

Im in Perth. I take it your a Victory fan? Would love Newcastle to do a tour of Asia or Australia. I think wed build big crowds over here to see the toon play.

Im pretty certain that this squad would get relegated. With all the negative noise from the fans over selling the core of our successful team, morale will be low. Theres no proven goalscorer or pace. It would really disgust me if that were to happen. Surely theres better cheap strikers out there in the Jelavic type.

Never going to happen in a million years. Maybe one or two will go. But not that many. There is more money to be made by having a successful side long-term through sponsership, crowd figures, europe etc. When we begin making profit Ashleys debt will begin to be wiped off slowly.

Always have it at home. That and Becks Gold. Did really my one sentence make this into a beer debate? Decent. Are you living in Germany David, if so whereabouts? Easily my favourite country to visit in Europe. In Bavaria. Near Augsburg / Munich. Awesome! Been there a few times. Best beer, food and countryside youll experience anywhere in the world. Enjoy it!

Best beer ive had is Hofbrau...unbelievable brew. Coronas are lovely on a 40 degree summers day here in oz though. Nothing beats it.

Yeah, except the beers supplied at anything organised like that are usually pisswater like Carling, Carlsberg or Stella. Such an unhappy man you are Ronaldo .. are you still upset that Ronaldo didnt sign for us back in the summer of 2006? I'm the happiest guy in the world. I just don't like the above. Fair enough mate .. Fosters is a shit beer as well .. dont even seve it in oz

Cisse can hold the ball up. But not as effective as Ba was at it before the African Nations. Primarily that what I see their roles being, but of course they will swap roles for periods during the game, so that Ba can have a rest. Ba's hold up play home against Man-U was absolutely fantastic. One of the best performances I've ever seen from an nufc-attacker. He just danced around so effortlessly: Kept the ball so we could move the team upwards, but was also inside the box when needed. Yeh it was incredible that performance. Looked a completely different player to the one that played against Everton and Wigan. In those last few games. Hope he hits that form again

I'd take him if Ba leaves. Think Gameiro fits better with Cisse too. We've struggled at bit in the 4-4-2 formation and that's maybe because Cisse and Ba are too similar. . Both are classical center forwards who like to take part in the build up play. We could need an attacker who focuses mainly on the space behind the defense: Opposite movement in other words. We'd get that with Gameiro. I disagree .. I think Cisse's strength is his ability to play along the line of the defence and make runs in behind. However we never really got to see how the Cisse/Ba partnership was going to work. Due to Ba losing confidence and being incredibly tired in the legs department in the run in. I think theoretically Ba and Cisse is a better partnership, because Ba likes to drop in the hole and contribute to the build up play, like he did in the first half of the season. Then making a later run into the box. Whereas Cisse stays on the last defender and plays off his shoulder.

Is that not a contradiction? It is my BAD!
