  2. Im anticipating a massive influx's of " YES ", in this thread as emotions run high as we edge closer to kick off. FUCK IT, LETS DO IT! BELIEVE! WE DESERVE THIS! BEST FANS, BEST STADIUM, BEST MANAGER IN THE LEAGUE. HOWAY THE LADS!

  5. Then its 4 months of TRANSFER HELL.... its an absolute rollercoaster ride
  6. Will we go 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 today. Im hoping the latter. Weve had a weeks rest, we are energised, we want this! lets hit them on the counter with our expansive attack.
  7. Be class if Spurs had a bout of food poisoning, on the last day, like they did 4 or 5 seasons ago.
  8. Duff ¨ At left back Who was on the bench that day? Edgar, Butt, Lovenkrands & Duff are the obvious weak links. Swap in Gutierrez, Beye and Enrique and its not such a bad side on paper.
  9. if it's right at the end of july i'll be there Been to St. Pauli ... Great area ... full of strippers and prostitutes. But seriously is a great club with alot of alternative character. Would be a good away trip. Somewhat does it a bit of an injustice but yes the St.Pauli neighbourhood does include a street called the the Reeperbahn which is like a bigger version of the Bigg Market on a Friday night with a few sex shops and a couple of back lanes with hookers hanging out. Essentially though it's a drinking/partying area. Elsewhere St.Pauli has some of the best bars and nightlife in Hamburg all within a stones throw of the ground - not unlike SJP really. Hotels are really affordable as well. It is a great place.
  10. Possibly, to me it sounded more like Curtis Good, because he then spoke about the three french trialists separately.

  12. So looks like Debuchy and an aeirally dominant centre back will be signed (Douglas). Along with Curtis Good who he said was on trial and he thinks hes going to be a top top player. (This links with articles in the Australian Press). Amalfitano will come in. After that possible a wide/striker type player and we are all set.
  13. Bale is shit as a fullback though .. if thats where you intend to play him

if we're only playing one centre forward then we already have ba, cisse and shola, so i would imagine no But during African Nations we then only have Shola ... so i can see us signing a 20 year old striker with potential.
  17. I think with Smith's, Guthrie's, Lovenkrand's & Harpers? wages gone... thats around 90 000 pounds a week saved. Thats 4,680,000 pounds saved. With Amalfitano coming in, I would assume he would be on around 10 000 a week. So thats 4 million pounds available for wages/transfers. There is still probably a little left from the Carroll sale. Can see us spending around 10 to 12 million pounds on new players. Our policy is that the money is always available, but only if it is a viable deal that favours our club .. like Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse.
  18. I think he'll go for around 3.5 mill.

Will be a good signing for Villa. Holds the ball up well and has good feet. Has a great attitude & seems a top lad. If he leaves I thank him for helping us stay up last season, and wish him all the best
