  1. I do think the "executive" swinging is necessary for the successful medium and long term future of the club. Eddie is only going to be looking at the season ahead and will want to make all decisions that might help this year, but then see the club move backwards. For example not moving Trippier and Wilson on in January is effecting transfer business now. I also think Eddie needs to be more open to scouting outside of PL experience.
  2. Would seem so strange to see her and Mehrdad working at another PL club.
  3. I would take Kuluševski here. He was very good before he had that injury and started showing some form late last season.
  4. He is on £200,000 per week at Barca. So pretty close to Bruno and Isak money. Maybe a personal sponsorship deal for adidas or sela might help.
  5. I have a feeling it will be Rafinha. He knows Bruno and big Joe. Fits the right wing role perfectly.
  6. 62 appearance in all comps in the last 2 seasons and 28 goals. With a 38 game season + cups. I think he is a great option to have off the bench and for cup games.
  7. I dont mind hims staying if he is motivated and prepared to be backup to Isak. Less playing time should mean less injuries. I don't think we can replace his goals. There isn't a lot out in the striker market.
  8. In what professional environment is a subordinate involved in the recruitment of their boss. There needs to be a clear line between the sporting director and the head coach. Yes, they need to work together on strategy etc. but in this structure the power needs to shift towards the sporting director. Having the manager involved in his recruitment undermines his authority before he even steps into his role.
  9. We have Hall who is equal to or better than Maatsen.
  10. I thought more of a 9 or a 10.
  11. Can see PSG or Arsenal going for him. He wont want to play backup to Isak.
  12. His stats in 22/23 were comparable to Bellinghams at Dortmund. When’s he’s fit and at his best he’s definitely a key part of the squad. He creates chances, drives forward with the ball and gets some great chances to score. He needs to improve at finishing his chances.
  13. I think we did when it looked like Joelinton was leaving. But now he’s signed up. No. We have Tonali, Joelinton, Willock and Longstaff that can play that number 8 role.
  14. Is Onana press resistant with the ball? Always looked clumsy to me under pressure.
  15. Its not easy to look good as a midfielder in that Everton side.
  16. He will be their big Joe. We need someone comfortable receiving the ball deep and under pressure.
  17. Could she still have a seat on the board as a director without being an owner? Would be a nice way to keep her involved in the club.
  18. PIF only paid £305mill for the club, while Chelsea went for £2.5 bill. It is an investment that has and will continue to grow, but also provides exposure to Saudi businesses into a western market. They will make a lot of money out of owning us.
  19. I’d take him for 45 mill.
  20. We are a level ahead of West Ham now, especially with Paqueta leaving. With our injuries curse last season we still ended the season with a +37 goal difference over them.
  21. We aren’t at a stage where we can purchase players over the age of 26 for high fees. His value will depreciate every year, which isn’t good for our PSR. We need players whose value rises through the contract.
  22. 22/23 purple patch Miggy was unreal. Was like watching peak Arjen Robben.

A good coach gets that squad playing far better.
