He was pretty good tonight. Just had no one around him that was supporting him. Livramento and Longstaff were extremely poor.
-
Almiron has been quite good imo

How would he fare on the right wing?

The whole palace squad were flying heading into the Euros. They were in European qualification form Olise, Eze, Wharton, Guehi, Andersen Mateta. They were all in top form at the same time. The loss of Olise and Andersen has really affected their team. He is capable of playing at a top level. Its whether he can do it consistently is whether he is worth the price tag.

Wish him all the best and thank him for his service. Health is the most important thing.

he wasn’t backed at all in the transfer window. Had a number of key players heads turned and shopped around. Has been undermined by the senior executives at the club at all points. I feel like his days are numbered and Mitchell and Eales will want their own man in charge.

crazy we haven’t bought a proper number 6.

Someone needs to give Gordon a rocket. Hes not even trying.
-
His attitude has turned to shit. He’s half arseing it and not working off the ball.

I would get Schar and Longstaff signed to new deals too.

I wound start Osula if Isak is out. I think Osula can replicate what Gordon gives us in that role and let Gordon get back to the wing where he is most effective. Pope Trippier. Schar. Burn. Livramento Tonali. Bruno. Joelinton Gordon. Osula. Barnes Subs: Dubravka, Murphy, Almiron, Willock, Krafth, Hall, Kelly, Longstaff, Targett

I think most teams would want an in-form Joelinton . His issue right now is consistency and fitness. When inform hes a beast.

It is unusual to not have any communication with your boss in ten days.

any idea what song he will be singing for the fans?

I do think he could have worded it in a less harsh way. Just had to say: - We need to improve our transfer strategy and scouting networks, while there is less risk shopping in England or the PL the prices quoted can not work for us in our PSR situation. - Eddie is a fantatic manager and we are working together to improve the transfer strategy and quality of the squad. - Yes, we would like to have done better in the window. It was difficult with alot of change in a short period of time. We now have time to reset, review and improve. Done.

Tiote scored another 30 yard screamer against Man City, that was disallowed for someone being offside in the keepers eye line. I

As romantic as it is to stay at St. James. The practicality of moving to a new stadium is far more obvious. You dont lose attendance revenue or have to share a ground with a rival while the rebuild/renovation is taking place. I would also imagine it will be cheaper without trying to work around the current engineering restrictions.

I think the close call on the PSR breach maybe helped make the decision for them. With Eales claiming he had no control over it.

As much as Amanda and Mehrdad were fantastic, it was also them that lead us into the frantic PSR sales at the end of June that almost led us to either losing key players or a points deduction. Eales and Mitchell have also lead poorly since they left.
