He's completely won me over. I don't think there's been a player yet who I've had such a 180 on. I've gone from dreading seeing his name anywhere near the team sheet and wondering why we spent even £40 on him, never mind £40m, to thinking he is indispensable and a complete bargain. Madness.

Joe Wellington was absolutely immense yet again. I'd have snatched your hand off for a point at the start but I'm still disappointed with only one at the final whistle. Play like that every week and we don't go down. Add in January additions, and I'm fairly hopeful despite our current precarious position.

Massively. Not only is he ineffective there, but he's been immense where he is playing and removing that dynamism from the middle of the park would be a huge loss.

I think Wilson coming off in the last few seconds was a poor tactical move. Stay on, make them unsure over half time over whether you'll come back out or not, or if you go off who will replace you. I think that was naive to bring him off for a meaningless few seconds and give the opposition that much more knowledge going into half time.

Not sure we could field much of a better team, but it's still dogshit and we'll get fisted. Meh.

We need to offer something going forward on each flank at fullback, to push their winger back a bit. Otherwise they'll just camp deep in our half. Not saying we should play Ritchie because he's a liability defensively, but I'm against the idea of an entirely defensive fullback who is instructed to stay completely in their own half.

The (majority of the) electorate don't give a shit about poor people starving. You realise who 'we' voted in for the last decade, right? Even half the starving poor people don't care enough to vote labour, they'd rather blame immigrants and vote Tory because Brexit. We're fucked.

Tbf to them they had 30% possession away to Arsenal, we've been managing about 25% in similar games so I can't see it's fair to criticise them too harshly. They also carried a bit of fret looking at the shot statistics, again something we've not done. Sure, they got soundly beaten and the result was never in doubt, but they've acquitted themselves at least as well as we've done in those kind of matches.

Listing Joelinton as "worst striker" makes no sense since he isn't one. Dubravka would probably do shit there too.

Willock is not a CM, and if we must play Shelvey we need someone alongside him who can break up play and sit deep. I liked Willock further forward last season, but he simply cannot pay where he's being asked to in this formation. We're getting sliced apart and the defence have no protection.

I expected us to look better under Howe, especially after the Brighton match which was genuinely excellent football but we've been turgid since and it's been painful to watch.
