TBF him visiting the training ground, if indeed he did, doesn't mean anything. After all it's pretty easy for anyone to visit a training ground, with or without that club's permission. As Southampton will attest.

The former would indicate he's not responding to treatment and is getting worse, and that his cancer has now spread to different organs. The latter indicates that was the state at diagnosis. Still a grim diagnosis, but we're not being given an indication it's getting worse. Neither is great, obviously. But when the former is presented as the latter, it's newspapers being sensationalist ghouls profiteering on a man's suffering just for clicks.
-
Seems like it's not that his cancer has now progressed to stage 4, but that he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. That's two very different things.

I don't care who goes, players leave. This window is 100% about who comes in.

New York, famed for people living in massive houses.

Selling Gordon early only makes sense if we replace him early. We all know we'll not do that. We'll probably sell him cheap, he'll have a storming world cup, then we'll buy his replacement based on WC performances late in the window and for an inflated fee.

Man City are what we want to be. No reason to hate them or anything they've done, or to want them punished. Fuck the red cartel. Less that cabal of cunts win, the better.

As long as Wolt is high up the pitch I'll be happy, don't want to see him sitting in some central midfield role.

Unless we have a top 4 wage budget, top 4 training facilities and top 4 transfer budget, then expecting top 4 finishes every year is not realistic. Of course they have a right to be unrealistic - they own the club. But it doesn't feel like a realistic or fair expectation at this stage.
-
I mean your point would be stronger if we hadn't won at the weekend with Burn at left back and Woltemade completely unused. Don't misunderstand me, I'm a big fan of Howe and have no wish for him to leave. I just have concerns.
-
Part of me is really happy, personality wise I think he's fantastic. I love how he conducts himself, how he behaves, how he speaks. As a representative of my club, he's incredible and I desperately want him to succeed. But another part of me is incredibly frustrated by him. Is he just fundamentally unable to play anything other than a high pressing kick and run game where fitness and running about are more important than talent? Are we destined to lose players like Woltemade because he's not fast enough, or Hall because he's less tall than Dan Burn? I think I'll lose my shit if Hall leaves so Burn can amble around at left back for another season. Yes running around lots and being tall are positive qualities, but we cannot continue to venerate these qualities to the complete detriment of absolutely anything else. On which notes Howe's recent comments about playing style and individuals he trusts worry me greatly.

This. Seemed to utterly shit his pants when he realised he was 1 on 1 with the keeper then the ball pinged off the keeper's hand to Barnes, wasn't even a clean pass. Utterly bereft of confidence.

Sadly we're going to attract plenty of eFans now who couldn't find Newcastle on a map and latched onto us in the initial upswing, they've thought they were getting in early in supporting the next Man City and they've never seen the bad times let alone been to Newcastle. Most probably aren't even in the UK. I can't say their opinion is of any interest to me.

Ramsdale is a midfielder with a goalkeeper jersey on. Always makes me think he's been asked to go in nets because the regular guy got sent off and we forgot to put one on the bench.
-
Best ageing right back we've signed during transformative times since Barry Venison.

That's not and never has been some kind of cheat code. It has always been based on us selling £100m of players every year for the next few years to fund that £300m today. People then (conveniently) forget about that deal with the devil when the next year comes round, and we sell another £100m of players. People want that to unlock another spending spree when really it's to cover the previous one. Basically it's a trick you can only use once but you still must cover the expenditure in future windows. I suspect we're spent up and covering previous years now.

If as expected these come and stick 11 behind the ball I hope we fire some shots from range. If we just try and play through a packed defence for 90 it could be exhausting to watch
-
Not for me. I'd rather have someone in goal who can save a shot even if it means we have to launch it forward from the back. Ramsdale for me is "outfield player in nets", he's just not a goalkeeper.
-
He just has no reach at all. Anything slightly away from him is in the net. I've never known a goalkeeper be so bad at actually saving shots.
-
Turned the volume off and largely dissociating from it. Bit like the defence have done.
-
Ok Ramsdale is great with the ball at his feet but by god he's shit at actually stopping shots. Has no reach whatsoever.
-
I'm nervous but feel this is largely a free hit - I have no right to be disappointed or let down if we don't beat Barcelona over 2 legs in the CL knockout stages. The odds are greatly against us, but I think we have a puncher's chance - we showed just at the weekend that we can get at a big team away from home and beat them.
-
Unless they're offered a massive pay increase, any player (and agent) worth their salt will refuse to sign a new deal until they've got 12-18 months left (max) because that's when they can start to extract the best price from their current club. I'm sure overtures from the club happen all the time, but I can imagine that the response is normally just a flat "no".

I'm on desktop. Even if I wasn't, autorotate would just turn it back the other way. Also I can't read upside down.
